I was woken up by my phone ringing. I turned over trying to silence it but it just started ringing again. I sat up picking up my phone. I saw that javi had called me 10 times.
" hello?" I said picking up " good morning sleepy head, I called you." He laughed " oh I saw, what's up." I said yawning " guess what!" "Hm?"
" hi Georgia!" I heard a familiar voice say That's when it hit me, that was Kate's voice. " Kate." I said not feeling tried anymore " get ready we are coming to get you." Javi said hanging up I quickly jump out of bed throwing in a pair of jeans and an old shirt. I could not believe Kate was here, after all of these years she had came back. I heard the reving of a truck outside, I slip on my shoes before running up to them.
Kate got out of the truck ingolfing me into a hug. " I missed you so much." I said holding back happy tears " I missed you so much more." She said laughing We pulled apart as we got into the truck again. " well good to see you smiling." Javi said turning around looking at me I rolled my eyes smiling as we drove off

" here we are." Javi said as we pulled up to what looked like a gas station I get out of the truck seeing a guy with sunglasses walking over to us.
" who are these two javi." He said smirking " this is my best friend's Georgia and Kate." " nice to meet you guys I'm Scott." He said as he was chewing gum
I could feel him staring at me. The feeling of his gaze on me made my cheeks turn red. I cleared my throat as I looked away rolling my eyes. " so what are we doing here?" I asked Javi was cut off by a truck with loud music driving over to us.
A guy with a camera came out the passenger seat as he recorded a guy in a cowboy hat. " who are they?" I asked " tornado chases from Arkansas." Javi said as we all watched them handing out shirts
" hillbillies with a YouTube channel." Scott said I let out a little smile watching everyone cheer for them.
" that Tyler ownes. He calls himself a tornado wrangler" Javi said as I saw Kate starting at him " dang." Was all I could say as I watch the group of towns people cheering for him
" they have merch?" Kate said raising one eyebrow " yall don't want one of there t-shirts?" I joked my southern twang coming out strong
" idiots." Scott said walking away I followed Javi and Scott over to the vans. " ok uniforms and wrinkle cress shirts." A girl with dreads said walking over to us " ah, looks like there going to church." A guy standing next to her said
I rolled my eyes as I walked past them " look at that fine lady we have right there." I head the guy whistle Right as I was turning around about to say something Scott came up to myside. " ignore them."
I looked over my shoulder holding the middle finger as they laughed. I noticed Kate standing in the grave staring at the sky. " what is she doing?" Scott questioned " she's doing what she does best." I smiled as Javi stood next to me I watched as Owen's walked over to Kate seeing Javis face drop.
" I'm going to go get a drink." I said leaving before shit went down
I looked around finding four monsters. " hi, just these." I said handing the casher the money " Georgia? Right." I heard someone say as the door opened I turn my head seeing Scott standing there. " yeah." I said taking the change and the bag " Javi told me to come get you, where heading out." He said said not interested
I walked past him not saying anything as Kate was meeting me half way. " I got yall some drinks to." I said passing them out Scott come up behind me as I turned around to face him. " don't worry I got one for you as well." I said patting his shoulder
" alright let's load." Javi said " Kate did you find where we are going?" I asked getting into the back of the truck " yep." " great I guess we are listening to dandelions now." Scott said under his breath hading to his van I looked back at him before rolling my eyes
