I sat on my front porch smoking a cigarette and drinking a hot cup of coffee. Something about these to things that help with a hangover and a heartache. That's when I saw my dad's dog run into my front yard.
" what the hell!" I said getting up " brisket! Is that you!" Brisket the dark Australian cattle Dog looked at me before he walked over slowly. I wrapped my arms around his as he rested his head on my shoulder.
" brisket! I hate this stupid dog!" I heard a familiar voice yell I saw my dad standing at the end of the drive way holding an empty beer.
" Georgia!" He said sounding almost angry but sad " hi dad." I said standing up " look at you." He said with a tear in his eye " dad." I said holding back my emotions " oh Georgia.......... what a red-neck you have become." He spat
In that moment my heart had broken more then I have ever thought it could. " what." I said as my voice cracked

As I ripped out of the drive way I see my dad throw his beer can at my window. I looked over as brisket had her head out the window. I get a text from Kate saying we are meeting at the trailer place.
I pull up seeing Tyler and his team. I get out as brisket follows behind me. " his that brisket!" Kate said running up to me " yep, he come home to me." I said smiling at Boone
" good to see your feeling better, Booney baby has been asking about you this whole time." Kate whispered in my ear I let out a laugh as I rolled my eyes. " hi." Boone whispers nervously to me " good morning." I said standing next to him but looking straight ahead
I let my hand glaze over his a little. I feel him jerk looking down at our hands. I waited to see if he would intertwine then, but he didn't making sure no one saw.
"I heard we got new rockets." I whispered to him " rockets!" He said looking up from the ground as his face brightened I winked at him before Dani tried getting everyone's attention. I patted boones shoulder as we followed the group.
" let go everyone get into your trucks, we are testing this out!" Dexter yelled I went over to Kate and Tyler getting into the back as Boone followed getting in the back with me. Even though there was enough room he had to sit super close to me. I was biting my lip trying to hide my smile at boones cuteness.

I turned my head to Kate seeing her smiling at what Tyler was saying. " you have some drool." I teased " what!" She said wiping her mouth noticing nothing was there
She slapped my arm as I let out a laugh. I watched as Boone walked over to Lily talking about the drown being cute. I couldn't help but smile as Kate hit me with foot. " now who's drooling." She laughed
" let's get the show on the road!" Tyler said as we got back into the trucks seeing a tornado forming in the distance " Georgia come with us!" Boone yelled from another van this time
" I'm driving." I said as Boone sat in the passenger and lily and Ben were in the back As I followed Kate and Tyler, Scott and Javi cut infront of us
" these storm buttheads are cutting us off!" Boone yelled I moved my hand over to his grabbing on to it quickly and squeezing it.
Boone sat back looking at me as I let go hopping the two in the back didn't see. I looked in the mirror seeing Ben smiling, dang it he must have sawed that.
