Chapter 23: Holiday Suprise

NOVAS POV

It was a week away from Christmas, we had decided to spend Christmas eve here. Leave that night for Alabama spend the weekend there then up to Louisiana to see Daddy.

Sean went home a few days ago cause daddy seemed lonely but he said he really likes it up here and wants to come back. I got mad at him a lot for stealing my boyfriend. Both of them would go out to the bar and I would just have JJ over and chill out.

For Christmas we both decided instead of getting each other pointless gifts, we would get each other one special gift. Nothing can top mine. He has been on the waiting list at Ocean Way studios longer than I have known him so... I bought Elle King out of her spot for the first weekend of the new year.

I woke up early because last night there was a chance of snow! Never in my life have I seen a single snow flake, it was 7am and I ran down stairs. I moved the curtains to revel the yard covered in 3-4 inches of white glistening snow as more little white pieces hit it. I ran back up the stairs and put on sweatpants and socks.

"Michael wake up!! It's snowing like it really is!" He stirred a little but I rushed right back down the stairs, I threw my boots on and opened the door. Stepping on the place that had no snow.

I bent down touching it with my bare hand. Cold, wet, melty and special...

"Go on step out" I heard Michael say from behind me. I pushed my foot into the soft packy snow and I couldn't wipe the smile from my stupid little face.

I sat down and played with it....wow this is so amazing! Wayne came out and put a little toboggen on my head, jacket and some gloves.

He bent down and and turned to me holding his phone and a snowball...no

"Oh please don't! What if it hurts!" He then laughed and threw it at me oh okay that's fun! I'm a newb

I got up running and threw one back at him. We continued through the yard throwing snowballs at eat other. I ran from him and he tackled me I laughed on the ground as he was on top of me. He smiled leaving down and kissing me. This day was hours old and already the best day in my life.

We went back in changing into dry clothes, I just threw on on his SLUMERICAN hoodie cause pants are for squares.

I make some hard apple cider joining him on the couch cuddling with him.

"So 6 days till Christmas... what did you get me?" He asked me making me laugh

"That's the point with gifts, you don't know till you open it." he made his cute little frowny face

"Sex pistol tickets?" I shoot my head

"That's something can buy with your own money, actually it was difficult for me to get my hands on but I did it. You will die I swear" he had a huge grin on his face

"Damn can't get me excited then not tell me!" I kissed his cheek giggling a bit

"What did you get me?" He gave me the sligh look

"You will never guess and your going to flip shit! Though it was difficult, first time I'm not getting my girl a pair of slippers." I laughed at how cliche that is.

"When your birthday?" Ugh I'm one of those people who thinks birthdays are overrated

"Why you gotta know?" I asked back

"Because I love you dearly and i wanna to something special to let you know just how much you mean to me Chevy" aww

"You never call me Chevy anymore.." I said kissing him sweetly
