"Back off Sar." Alex pouts annoyance written all over hs face, at Sarah who was talking shit about his favorite lovers.

Yes, the ever-famous Romeo and Juliet. Ironically Sarah hates them even after being the one with the greatest passion for reading and writing.

"I mean, they are totally in love at first sight ready to die in the end. It's so unreal. I can't believe people even glorify it as a love story. It only promotes suicide for people who do not get what they want. Stupid." Sarah scoffs with no intention of backing down.

"But they loved each other so much that they thought the world wasn't worth living without each other." Alex states determined and one could see admiration gleaming in his eyes.

"All for love at first sight? Not even mates fall in love at first sight. You think that works on humans. You are so naive kid." Sarah comments like she couldn't care less.

"But they admired each other." Alex whines.

"Yeah, they are the most loving couple in the history. Alright." Sarah gives in rolling her eyes going back to whatever she was reading on her phone.

We were lounging in the cozy living area, 'Common Den' of the pack house while the members of the pack were scattered here and there. Some of them were at the right end of this never-ending hall playing board games and some other gaming stuffs were set up. The whole fucking room had taken this whole fucking floor. You can imagine how frigging vast it would be.

Yesterday after the phone call Blade decided to open up a little bit, at least. No offence, but I was hiding something from him too even though I didn't know what I was hiding, like the memories were lurking somewhere in the deepest part of my soul but I couldn't remember what. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't remember, and neither had we marked each other.

He told me there were kidnappings happening around the supernatural community and it had risen to a level that was out of control. And my mind can't help but go back to that one nightmare I wish I never witnessed.

Almost, all the kids were below thirteen and had not shifted yet. Fear had taken its place once again in my heart and how desperately I wish it isn't related to the ones I think is related to.

That is when I realize what it meant when people say, 'when everything is going too well, the past comes banging into your life.'

Considering the kidnappings were creating predicament among the kingdoms, that is where the Celestial Guardians step in. Taking into the account how the kingdoms themselves had complications concerning the heirs.

The Werewolf Kingdom had lost the queen years ago and the King did not move on from the loss of his mate and the unborn son about twenty-six years ago. No one actually knows what happened to the queen.
Talking about Wizard Kingdom; during their bloody war against vampires twenty years ago, the twin sisters were lost, and nobody knows what happened to them either.
The Vampire Kingdom's ruler isn't a good guy. Scratch that, he is thirsty for power and wealth. It's common knowledge among people. His heir is too young, maybe eight or nine. No one has ever seen the kid, no one knows if he even exists.
As for the Demon Kingdom, the only son of the Demon Lord was handed over the duties, but the title was yet to be passed since he hadn't found his mate. Blade said that he was friends with the Demon prince.
Humania was under a normal circumstance, but they had to deal with a whole bunch of ruckuses being created by some power-hungry motherfuckers.

"There you have it, I win. I am always right." Alex's comment in his smug voice snaps me out of thoughts.

"Oh, I would have dragged the argument, but your pathetic virgin ass wouldn't be able to take it." Sarah throws laughing like a maniac.
