It was another snow-covered morning as we stood by our stall on the cleared road. Snowflakes slowly drifted to the ground, bringing a chilling bite to our skin and facing off against the warm sunlight.

Boots of passersbys crunched back and fourth as they glanced at our items. Eventually, someone stopped and was eyeing the mushrooms intently.

It was a tall Gargoyle with heavy musculature.

"Hi. My name is Jerry. Can I have a mushy?" He asked, pointing to the Mushrooms.

"Which one?" I asked.

"Can I have that one?" He asked, pointing to a red one.

"These are red narcotic mushrooms. They put the consumer to sleep. They can be applied to ammunition and handheld weapons, perfect for knocking out large animals and making someone shut up. They are 2 Coshin Dollars each," I offered.

He pulled out a rock and a bottle of shampoo.

"So a trade then?" I asked.

"Yes," Jerry replied.

"It'll do," I replied.

I took the rock and the shampoo and gave Jerry two Narcotic Mushrooms in return.

Jerry instantly ate them and fell to the ground with a heavy thud on the snow.

I immediately went up to him. "Are you ok?" I asked.

No response.

I crushed up all my apples and placed them in a heap of hide.

Archelon heated it up with his shell and I placed the warm bag on Jerry's forehead.

He was alive.

His eyes opened after a couple minutes and wide grin slowly curled on his face.

"I like this alot," He said, placing his hands on the bag to keep them warm.

"You gotta be careful with those mushrooms, they kick in quick," I warned.

"They are fun," Jerry replied, taking the bag off of himself.

"Anything else?" I asked.

"No, I'm just going to lie down here," Jerry replied, the Narcotic effects still lingering.

"Well I've been looking for a new fighter for my team. If you joined me then you could work on my mushroom farm, then you could get all the Narcotics you'd like," I offered.

"Really? I played with another person. A big mean guy killed them, but I was lucky to escape," Jerry recalled.

My ring glowed and I answered the message.

"Thanos will arrive soon. You need to be here in roughly 30 seconds," Brainiac said on the message.

I watched as Jerry fell to the ground once again.

Maybe not for my party after all...

I teleported to the league to confront Thanos!

I walked from the Council Room to Brainiac's Study.

He turned around and saw that I had arrived right on schedule.

"The Two stones he's after have been removed from their owners. They are in two secure holding containers. You will be in a secluded room with the 2 infinity stone owners. Do not let them know why they are there," Brainiac ordered.

He pressed a button and I was teleported into said room.

It was an airtight room, the walls armored with Adamantium and Titanium, as thick as a blast door.
