Chapter 6 (Parasite; The Power Thief)

A purple, fleshy figure then appeared from one of the portals, seemingly no nose and no eyes. All the features that would make this being somewhat human were not present. Yet still, he spoke and walked like one.

It bared the powers of Doorman, and it definitely was not him.

It sniffed around, compensating for its lack of eyes.

This had to be Parasite, appearing in front of me now. Was it looking for me?

It turns out that he had been behind the earthquake at the beginning of my journey all along.

A hologram appeared on my ring as it flashed bright red. It said Parasite was nearby. That confirmed my suspicion, it was him.

The ring glowed and the League of Heroes teleported to my location.

"Before you ask, when in the presence of a dangerous being, your ring glows and sends out a distress beacon," Superman explained, leading the team.

We looked back and.... Parasite was gone! Nowhere to be seen...

That was until we heard a roar and in a blink of an eye, we saw Yoda being drained by Parasite, his face in the monster's palm.

His powers were being stolen!

"Maybe we should use the red liquid on him," I suggested.

"We don't know enough about it. It could just make Parasite stronger," Dr. strange replied.

Parasite dropped Yoda into a heap, now force sensitive.

He pushed us all backwards with a force push!

I sent Rexy to battle first!

The heroes aiding me on-field were; Superman, The Flash, Dr Strange, Swamp Thing, Mace Windu, Captain Marvel, Yoda and Ghost Rider!

Rexy stomped in, clamping Parasite with her jaws and shaking her like a chew toy!

But with a single touch, Rexy's powers were drained, and Parasite now had the strength and durability of a T-Rex!

Ghost Rider rode past on his motorbike and wrapped up Parasite in chains!

Mace Windu lifted Parasite with the force and slammed him back down!

Parasite broke free of the chains with ease and snatched Ghost Rider off of his bike, draining his powers too!

Parasite now had Pyrokinesis!

He spoke. "This is enough," Parasite then teleported away, continuing his path of destruction.

"I think I know something that can end him quicker than he can drain. Help me locate the biggest, strongest creature in the land. It's the only thing I have prior knowledge on," I asked.

"And this big creature is called?" Dr Strange asked.

"Oh, I don't have one in mind, that's why I'll need your help to find one. I have these taming foods, so I'll be able to put one or two under my command if I can pull it off," I explained. "It took a few more seconds to drain Ghost Rider's powers than it did for Master Yoda. It could be due to size. If we find a giant creature, it should give us a long enough window to destroy Parasite while he is draining,"

Doorman, Superman and Dr Strange then began talking amongst themselves privately.

I was curious but I waited for them to finish.

Once they finished, Dr Strange opened a portal and left as doorman teleported away.

Superman walked up to me and faced the group. "You are all dismissed,"
