Dinner with Mom and Dad was peaceful, especially since Tyuzu wasn’t around.

I never wanted to marry her. She tricked everyone by lying, telling both our parents that she was pregnant with my child. Without a second thought, Dad arranged our marriage because her father is his close friend. Later, she claimed she had a miscarriage—another lie, and everyone bought it.

I hate her. And now, she’s refusing to divorce me, no matter what. But the moment I fall in love with someone else, I swear I’ll find a way out of this marriage, whatever it takes.

Yeah, it’s true—I’ve never experienced romantic love. Even at 27, I’ve never fallen for anyone.

Anyway, I'm home now. I parked in the garage, walked through the front door, and thankfully, there was no sign of Tyuzu. She’s probably off at the club again. Honestly, she’s a bad, psycho girl.

Whenever she’s not home, I can finally breathe. I walked upstairs, passing through the living room, to my sanctuary—my room, where I can find some peace.

As soon as I entered, I collapsed onto my soft bed. I’m exhausted. My days are always packed, but I need to take a shower before I can relax.

I dragged myself up from the bed, headed to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, and then stripped off my clothes. The moment I turned on the shower and the water hit my skin, I felt an instant wave of relief.

After a good 10-minute shower, I turned off the water, grabbed my bathrobe and towel, dried myself off, and slipped into the robe.

Back in my room, I put on my nightclothes, dried my hair, and then sank into bed. I’m running on fumes—today was another exhausting day. But tomorrow is going to be even busier; I have a crucial meeting first thing.

"Good night, world," I whispered, knowing there’s no one in my life to say goodnight to.

And with that, I drifted off to sleep, finally at peace.

My alarm blared, pulling me from my sleep. I glanced at the time—7:00 AM.

I didn’t want to get up, but I forced myself out of bed and into the bathroom.

After going through my morning routine and taking a refreshing bath, I got dressed for the office. I skipped breakfast—I couldn’t bear the thought of sitting down with Tyuzu.
