Emily woke up, her heart racing with the excitement of the day ahead. She quickly prepared a matcha latte and enjoyed the fresh strawberries, her breakfast—a small indulgence before diving into the day. With her makeup complete—pale pink glittery eyeshadow, a thin line of eyeliner down her eyelids, and a quite generous touch of cool toned pink blush on her cheeks (She loved blush. A girl could never put on too much blush.) and nose—Emily felt ready. She carefully selected her outfit, opting for a pale pink sweater with a frilly white collar, a short light beige skirt, and her favorite white leg warmers with tiny pink ribbons, a perfect match for the chilly weather her smartphone had shown for today. However, as she glanced at her phone one more time, panic set in when she noticed she had only ten minutes left to leave. Hastily she grabbed her bag, stuffed with her essentials, and dashed out of her apartment after putting on white boots with pink laces for a smooth sprint to the train station.
