Shubman had always been the kind of student who focused intently on his studies. He was diligent, disciplined, and determined to make something of himself.

College was just a stepping stone to achieving the dreams he had nurtured since childhood. Socializing, making friends, or even entertaining romantic interests were not on his agenda. He had a plan, and he stuck to it.

On the other hand, Ishan was the complete opposite. He was the kind of guy who breezed through college, not really caring much about academics. He was charming, outgoing, and always at the center of attention.

Being the youngest and most spoiled of his brothers, Rohit and Hardik, Ishan had always gotten what he wanted. And once he set his sights on something, or in this case, someone, he was relentless in his pursuit.

The day Ishan first saw Shubman in the college library was the day everything changed for him. Shubman was sitting alone, absorbed in his books, his focus unbreakable. Ishan, intrigued by Shubman’s quiet, intense demeanor, couldn’t help but be drawn to him. For Ishan, it was love at first sight.

But for Shubman, Ishan was just another distraction, one he could do without.

Ishan’s attempts to get closer to Shubman were met with cold indifference. He tried everything—sitting next to him in classes, joining study groups, even attending seminars he had no interest in, just to be near Shubman. But no matter what Ishan did, Shubman remained aloof, focused solely on his studies.

"I don’t have time for your games, Ishan," Shubman had told him once, clearly irritated by yet another of Ishan’s attempts to get his attention. "I’m here to study, not to get involved in... whatever this is."

But Ishan was nothing if not persistent. The more Shubman pushed him away, the more determined Ishan became. He wasn’t used to hearing the word “no,” and he wasn’t about to start accepting it now.

---

Years passed, and college came to an end. Shubman returned to Punjab to take over his father’s company, leaving Ishan behind with nothing but memories of the one person who had ever resisted him.

Life moved on, but Ishan never forgot about Shubman. When Rohit and Virat’s wedding was announced, Ishan was thrilled to learn that Shubman would be attending. Virat and Shubman were cousin, having known each other since childhood, and the wedding provided Ishan with another opportunity to confess his feelings.

On the day of the wedding, amidst the celebrations and the cheerful chaos, Ishan cornered Shubman. His heart raced as he poured out his feelings, telling Shubman how much he loved him and how he had never stopped thinking about him.

But Shubman’s response was the same as it had always been.

“Ishan, I’ve told you before, and I’ll tell you again—I’m not interested. I don’t feel the same way, and I never will. You need to move on.”

Ishan was crushed, but his resolve only grew stronger. He wasn’t going to give up. He had never given up on anything in his life, and he wasn’t about to start now.

---

Frustrated but determined, Ishan did what he always did when he wanted something desperately.

he went to his brothers.

Rohit and Hardik had always been the ones to fulfill his every wish, no matter how unreasonable. And this time, he wanted Shubman.

“I want to marry Shubman,” Ishan declared to Rohit and Hardik one evening, without a hint of hesitation.

Rohit and Hardik exchanged worried glances. They had always indulged Ishan, but this was different. Marriage was a serious commitment, and they knew Shubman wasn’t interested in their brother.
