– Three Years Later
The quiet of the night settled over the sprawling estate as the distant hum of Mumbai city life faded away. The mansion’s balcony doors were wide open, allowing the cool breeze to drift in, brushing gently against the silk curtains. Inside the master bedroom, Rohit stood by the large window, gazing at the moonlit garden below. He turned at the soft sound of footsteps, his eyes landing on Virat, who was walking toward him, his expression unreadable.
Virat looked serene, his sharp, chiseled features softened by the dim light that filled the room. His usually cold, composed demeanor had shifted over the past three years. He had opened up more, especially with Rohit, though he still maintained a certain distance with most others.
Their daughter, Samira, now eight years old, had brought them closer in ways they never imagined. She was the glue that kept their lives intact, a source of endless joy and love. But tonight, something more lingered in the air.
“You’ve been quiet,” Rohit said softly, turning to fully face Virat.
Virat walked up to him, his eyes searching Rohit’s, full of a depth and vulnerability that was rare. “I’ve been thinking,” he began, his voice barely above a whisper.
Rohit raised an eyebrow. “About what?”
There was a pause as Virat placed his hands on Rohit’s chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. His lips twitched into a small smile, but there was something else in his eyes—something that made Rohit’s breath catch.
Virat bit his lip for a moment, then finally said it. “I’m pregnant.”
The words hung in the air, heavy and filled with meaning. Rohit stared at him, processing what he had just heard. His heart thudded loudly in his chest, and his hands instinctively found Virat’s waist, pulling him closer.
“Say that again,” Rohit whispered, his voice trembling slightly.
Virat smiled, his cold exterior melting completely in this moment of pure emotion. “We’re having another child, Rohit. I found out a few days ago.”
Rohit’s eyes widened as he took in the news, his mind racing, but the overwhelming emotion that settled in his heart was pure joy. His hand moved to rest gently on Virat’s stomach, and even though there were no outward signs yet, Rohit felt an immediate, unbreakable bond.
“We’re going to have another baby…” Rohit whispered, a smile spreading across his face. His eyes softened as they met Virat’s. “I can’t believe it.”
Virat watched him with an intensity that sent shivers down Rohit’s spine. “I know we didn’t plan this, but… I want this, Rohit. I want this more than anything.”
Rohit cupped Virat’s face with his hands, his thumbs brushing lightly over his husband’s cheeks. “I want this too,” he murmured. “More than anything.”
There was a brief moment of silence, the kind that only deepened the connection between them. Then, without another word, Rohit closed the distance between them, kissing Virat deeply. It wasn’t hurried or frantic—it was slow, tender, and full of the love they had built over the years.
Their lips parted, and Rohit rested his forehead against Virat’s, their breaths mingling as they stood there, lost in the moment. His hands traveled down Virat’s body, as if memorizing every inch of him all over again. Virat responded with equal passion, his arms wrapping around Rohit’s neck, pulling him closer, needing to feel every part of him.
“I love you,” Rohit whispered against Virat’s lips, his voice full of emotion.
“I know,” Virat replied softly, his hands slipping under Rohit’s shirt, his touch igniting a fire between them.
They made their way to the bed, their movements slow but deliberate. The moonlight bathed the room in a soft glow as Rohit gently laid Virat down on the bed, his body hovering over him. There was a reverence in the way Rohit touched him, as if every caress was a promise, a testament to the love they had fought for and won.
Virat’s fingers tangled in Rohit’s hair, his body arching toward him, craving more. Their lips met again, more urgent this time, and soon, all barriers fell away. They were lost in each other, their movements synchronized by a shared understanding, a shared need.
As Rohit’s hands roamed over Virat’s skin, he marveled at the fact that this man, his husband, was carrying their second child. It filled him with awe, with a love so intense it almost hurt. His kisses trailed down Virat’s neck, lingering on his collarbone, and Virat let out a soft sigh, his body responding to every touch.
They moved together, slow and intimate, their connection palpable in every breath, every whisper. Rohit’s love for Virat poured into every kiss, every movement, and Virat gave himself completely, trusting Rohit with all of him—his heart, his body, his future.
As their lovemaking reached its peak, their hands intertwined, and the world outside ceased to exist. In this moment, it was just them—two souls entwined, their love stronger than ever before. They collapsed together in a heap of tangled limbs, breathing heavily, their bodies spent but their hearts full.
Rohit held Virat close, his hand resting protectively on Virat’s abdomen, where their child was growing. Virat’s head rested on Rohit’s chest, his fingers tracing lazy patterns over his husband’s skin.
“We’re really doing this,” Rohit whispered after a long moment of silence.
Virat smiled against his chest, his eyes closed. “Yes, we are.”
Rohit pressed a kiss to the top of Virat’s head. “I can’t wait to meet our baby. And Samira—she’s going to be so excited.”
Virat chuckled softly. “She’ll be thrilled to have a sibling.”
They lay there in the quiet, the gentle sound of their breathing the only thing breaking the silence of the room. Outside, the world continued to turn, but inside their little bubble, everything was perfect.
As they drifted off to sleep, Rohit’s arms wrapped securely around Virat, they knew that whatever challenges came their way, they would face them together. Their family was growing, their love deepening with each passing day, and they were ready for the future—whatever it might hold.
