Remaining rooted in place, you didn't even have to turn your head to sense his gaze on you. You could already feel those cold eyes boring a hole through your head, making you terrified as cold sweat began forming on your skin.

"Turn around." A strong, commanding voice echoed.

In that moment, you felt like wanting to disappear from existence. You could feel the way your heart pounded against your ribs, the sound of heartbeat reverberating in your ears as you caused your breath to stay on hold. Your body was practically covered in sweat by then, and you swallowed a lump in your throat before making your head turn to the direction from where the voice had come.

As your gaze met his, you saw a pair of threatening eyes darkly glaring at you. It reminded you of none other than the day you slipped on a beer bottle accidentally and crashed against his chest. He looked at you in the same way as back then, but the only difference was that this time, you had something to be guilty about.

Staring at him fearfully, you muttered out in a weak voice, "I... I'm sor-" You couldn't finish as there was a sudden, strong pull on your captured hand, making you immediately fall onto the bed. A gasp left your mouth as you tried to spring up on reflex, but your movements weren't nearly as fast enough to win against his skilled manoeuvring. He pushed you down and climbed on top of you, holding both of your hands by the wrists and pinning them down above your head — all within a fraction of a second.

At first, you didn't — or rather — couldn't grasp what just happened. You suddenly couldn't move. Your hands were restrained, with a grip so tight that you felt your bones would break. You tried to let out a scream, but that scream didn't last more than a second as he shot his other hand to your mouth, grasping and squeezing it to shut you up.

You struggled, swaying and shaking your head to set your mouth free. But that didn't serve as a good idea as he moved his hand from your mouth to your throat, squeezing to make you choke. "You make too much noise," he uttered, tightening his grip and making your eyes roll to your forehead while you struggled for air. Your eyes turned red, tears forming around the corners. At that moment, you really thought you would die, until he felt a little bit of compassion and decided to loosen his hold.

You coughed, gasped and fetched for air.

Your whole body shaked and you felt your heart thumping against your chest. There was no doubt — this was the most horrible experience you had ever had in your life.

Although you were now free to breathe, his intimidating form being so close made your blood run cold, hence ruining your pace of normal breathing. You paled at the sight of those icy blue eyes ominously glaring at you, while his expression remained unwaveringly stoic. Your wrists were on the verge of breaking at this point, but you couldn't scream, couldn't move or couldn't even make a sound due to the immense fear in your mind.

He noticed how you had gone all quiet after the chokehold. Even in the little light of the moon coming in from the window, he could see the prints his fingers left on the skin around your throat. He moved in a bit closer, his free hand resting beside your head as he began, "Before I ask your half-baked reasoning to be here in the middle of the night, tell me, what kind of punishment would you prefer for fixing that pea-sized brain of yours?"

He briefly waited for your answer while you only stared, eyes wide and face pale in colour.

"Didn't you hear what I said? I asked you a question." His voice was more strained this time, and you could tell that he was getting more angry for your silence by the firm grip on your wrists getting firmer.

"I... I'm sorry... P- please, let me go...!" you cried, looking at him with desperate, pleading eyes.

As you slightly winced and emitted a groan, he asked, his voice charged with dominance, "And why should I do that?"
