"What.... gonna do...."
"..... whether..... is necessa-....."
"Ya can..... that..... too much....."
"..... dare giv-...... whatever I wan-....."
Ugh... who's being so loud...? - you thought in your mind, your eyes twitching in displeasure.
"But that's way...... hand, don'cha think?"
"No one...... -ur opinion on this."
Nnhh... Can't they be a little quiet....? - your inner voice mused.
It was peaceful even a while ago, but somehow, the air turned raucous with two voices playing into your ears like a tape recorder playing a broken record. No matter how much irritated you got, these voices wouldn't stop conversing with each other.
"Hey, but you did. Ya asked me if ya should begin with the legs or the hands."
"That was because I thought it would be better if one of us tied the hands and the other the legs."
What...? What are they talking about...?
"But why tie someone up like that when they're flat unconscious? It's not like she can run away."
...Unconscious? ...Run away?
All of a sudden, in that moment, your eyes automatically flicked open. Upon the morning light suddenly streaming into your eyes, you found yourself squinting as you tried to make sense of what you saw. Apparently, your point of view presented you with two sets of boot-clad feet standing on the ground, one of which stood right next to the tip of your nose.
At first, you couldn't quite grasp that scene. Then all of a sudden, before you could manage to fully understand what was going on, you felt a hand wrap around your back.
"You're too cruel, Vergil. I'm takin' her to my room for now."
That voice sounded awfully familiar. But before you could remember who it belonged to, you found yourself getting pulled over someone's shoulder.
The person started to walk, and with your head hanging downward, you watched the ground slip past underneath. He passed a few scattered soda cans and beer bottles before getting up on something higher above ground, and it didn't take long for you to understand that you were being carried to the upper floor through a staircase for some unknown reason.
You tried to move your hands, but something was off. You couldn't bring them forward. It was like they were stuck behind your back like pieces of gum stuck in hair. As it made you confused, you turned your head backward, only to realise that your hands had been tied to your body with a set of sturdy ropes.
Shock overtook your mind in an instant, getting you stuck in the moment. You couldn't quite follow with your current condition. The last thing you remembered before falling asleep was that you were cornered against a wall by a giant half-naked dude with a menacingly scary gaze. But after that, somehow, everything went dark. Nothing was coming to mind when you tried recalling what happened after that.
The ropes around your body were a little too tight for comfort, and that made you start feeling the unease. You moved your body a bit on his shoulder, a small groan emitting from your lips in the process. Hearing that soft sound, your carrier immediately stopped in the middle of his track.
"Didja wake up?" he asked, his head tilted to the side.
He noticed your hands shaking as you tried to pull them apart from your back. Assured that you were really awake, he gave out a chuckle, advising, "That won't help. Vergil made sure to tie that rope tight enough so you can't move or try to run away."
