Josh got up, as Kirk closed the cover of his notebook computer and regarded Josh with contemplative eyes.

"I'm finished," Kirk said after a few moments.

Josh went to the mini-fridge in the back of the hotel room, opening the freezer door, a small metal box atop the rest of the refrigerator. Josh opened the door, put his hand in, checking, and with a smile, closed the door with the soft thud.

"Josh what the fucking hell do you have in the freezer?"

"Oh nothing Kirky," Josh answered. "Just...something...I'll explain later."

"Okay."

"So what have you learned?"

"Well later, do you want to tease the information from my head, or do you want me to tell you?"

Josh sat down on the bed across from Kirk, folded his legs crosswise, and looked at Kirk.

"Are you saying you're okay with me reading your mind?"

Kirk shrugged indifferently.

"Yeah, sure..."

"Well...let me think about this...'kay?"

"Sure, no sweat Joshy. But one thing I do need to tell you..."

"Yeah, what?"

"Well..." Kirk said, his voice trailing off. Kirk picked up the plastic binder that had the DVD disks, and reached into an empty pocket, pulling out a small black square.

"There's this...someone was tracking the DVD's...the binder."

"Shit! Holy fuck..." spat Josh in shock.

"So...someone will be showing up...soon given that it's been several days since we took the DVD's."

"Well shit...those fuckers from uncle?"

Kirk put the tracking device back in the binder, and closed it. Taking a deep sigh, Kirk considered.

"No," Kirk said easily, "this is a rather crude way to track us...uncle would have sent in a SWAT team of black uniformed killers as soon as we got in. So it seems, like...someone stashed the information, and would later come back for it. So this someone knows we broke in, and took the binder of DVD's. The tracking device is...well this someone will want the DVD's back. So after we copy them, and then upload the files to a cyber-storage account...we will..."

"Wait," Josh answered, getting up to rummage around their electronics items...for the DVD burner, blank DVD's, and other things Kirk had gotten.

"Done," Josh announced, taking the last DVD carefully out of the DVD burner, plugged into the notebook computer. With care, Josh labeled it with a black permanent marker, put it into a very slim DVD case, and closed it.

"Here," Kirk said, showing Josh the screen of the notebook computer. "I'm done too."

"Good...how many cyber-storage accounts did you open?"

"Several with the debit card we loaded with cash. But they're under a lot of phony names, e-mails...I put it in this small notebook. We'll memorize it, and burn it. Then we have our insurance policy against uncle."

"What about the DVD's we took? Take them back...or?"

"No. We go back...later. If we take them back, then we don't have the something that someone will come looking for. And we want the someone to come to us."

"Somebody then? But then..."

The door to the hotel room echoed with three sharp raps on the door. Josh and Kirk looked at each other, and then Kirk stood.
