I stood there for a moment, reminiscing on what she just told me. I held up my hand and looked at it, I don't know why, but I just did.
Putting my hand back into rest, I kept thinking. Was any of that real?
Real or not.. I know what I have to do now.
I picked up my guitar and headed back to where the stairs were, until suddenly I saw someone running up the stairs, stopping when they saw me in their way.
To my surprise, it was the PA girl, she was holding an umbrella and there was a concerned look on her face.
"Gotoh? What are you doing out here this late, In the rain too?" She asked me as I walked down to fit under her umbrella. She then started examining me, my worried facial expression and missing shoes.
"Don't tell me.." She said, sadness in her tone.
My eyes darted to the side as I realized she knew what I was about to do, "Umm.. I just wanted to see the rain."
The PA girl sighed, "We need to talk, come with me."
I dealt with it and nodded. What happened next is that the PA girl brought me down to her car, apparently we lived in the same apartment building now, and offered a ride to Starry to talk.
I was almost hesitant at first, but I accepted, by the fact I was barely conscious and had no idea what just happened.
While in the car, I got flashbacks to when Akari's mother nearly drowned me in a car, but my thoughts were reassured that I knew the PA girl and could trust her with this.
During the ride down to what was apparently Starry, she didn't bother to ask me what was going on, but I could hear her explaining the situation to someone on the phone, saying I needed some reassurance and empathy from someone to talk to. Which confused me.
The ride soon ended and the two of us entered Starry. When I got down there it seemed a live show had just ended, there were some people simmering out here and there. But the one that caught my eye was someone I recognized, something I haven't seen in a long time.
As usual, this said person seemed to have dranken a bit too much and had a tilted posture. It was Kikuri Hiroi.
I don't know why I was called to talk to her out of all people. But Seika was here as well, so maybe she meant something too.
"Bocchi? Is that you?" Hiroi asked, lifting above what looked like sunglasses. "Been a while."
"Sober up will you? Drunk idiot." Seika retorted, grabbing Hiroi to change her balance, sitting her down on a seat.
It's been a long time since I saw her. She was the woman who helped me with the tickets and helped grow my potential by doing a small street performance with me.
I can remember she was in a band too.
For some reason, I just simply sat down on the ground after that, the water from my clothes dripping on the floor. I then opened up my phone and entered the camera app, where I could get a better view of myself.
Honestly I looked like a wet cat, and my body was shivering from the cold rain too, even if it's summer.
Around a minute later, when most of the guests had left. Hiroi came back to where I was, a glass of water in her hand. She walked up to me and bent down to my level.
"So you tried to kill yourself didn't you kid?" Her voice sounded surprisingly soft despite her current state.
My head turned to her and I nodded slowly, and she gave me a saddened look. Maybe she wasn't completely indulged right now.
