Ryo's POV
I knew you would never understand, Bocchi. No one ever could get behind my reason to do it.
I didn't mean for things to end up this way, I just wanted all of us to be safe and happy.
But in the process, I became the opposite of what I wanted.

It all started a few years back, before Kessoku Band, I was in another rock band called The Hamukitada.
It was me and two other girls in that band. We had some common, local, popularity, but we were nothing big. I was the bassist, as usual.
The two other girls were named Hana and Maki. They were both young and sweet girls, I was too.
One day, we received an offer for a record label, it was from Storming Records. They were a group of middle aged men who showed up to our little garage that we made our music in.
At one point they told us they had a mini stage setup for us, so our parents accepted and they were going to drive us there. We were all very excited that day.
—--
The three of us were in one of their cars, we had our instruments out and we're looking forward to it.
"How much longer?" Maki complained.
"You've asked that at least five times already!" I retorted.
"Don't complain, we're almost there." The man said.
I looked out the window, and it was quite strange. I originally thought this stage was going to be in the city, but it seemed we were reaching more of an area with less buildings.
As we reached the stage a wave of uncomfortableness came over me. I was almost about to call back but the car swerved over into a driveway, where the other cars were coming in too.
It was a house we were at, the car we were in drove into the garage and closed behind us. We all got out and three other men were there too.
There was a stage inside, we all grabbed our instruments and got on. Hana was the vocalist while Maki was the leading guitarist.
This wasn't the stage I was expecting. Oh well.
"Let me confiscate your phones first." One of the men said as he walked up on stage and started pulling our phones from our hands.
"Hey!" Maki recoiled as she tried to reach for her phone.
"Kids are always distracted by their phones these days, this'll help." He laughed.
After that they told us to perform, so we did. We performed a couple songs until they got tired and said they'll have more plans coming up for us soon. So they left the garage, taking our phones.
"Uh sir I think you forgot to hand us our phones!" Hana piped up as she tried to chase them out the door. But it was already closed behind her, she tried to open it up, but it seemed to be locked. "Damn it!" She muttered under her breath.
I walked up to the door and tried to kick it a few times to get it open, but no luck.
"Don't worry, I'm sure they'll be back soon." I told her.
Minutes passed and they still hadn't returned back. Which soon turned to nearly an hour now. So we decided to spend our time playing silly games like truth or dare.
"Ok Ryo!" Maki called out, "I dare you to jump onto the trash can without falling in."
"Sounds stupid." I giggled, but I did it anyway. I jumped on to the trash can, trying to hold my balance. But unfortunately, I felt right in, resulting in laughter.
