It had been a few days since Jungkook and Taehyung’s emotional conversation. The brothers had all been trying their best to help Taehyung feel safe and loved, but progress was slow. Despite their efforts, Taehyung’s trauma still haunted him, making it difficult for him to fully trust them.

One evening, as the sun set and the house was quiet, something happened that would push Taehyung to the edge.

Yoongi, who had been working late in his home office, discovered that Taehyung hadn’t eaten anything the entire day. Worried, he called Jin, Namjoon, and the others to Taehyung’s room to check on him. The brothers gathered quickly, each of them filled with concern for their youngest sibling.

As they approached Taehyung’s door, Jin knocked softly. “Tae? We’re coming in, okay?”

The door creaked open, and the six brothers stepped into the room. Taehyung, who had been sitting quietly on his bed, looked up and saw them all together. His eyes widened with fear as he took in the sight of his brothers standing in his room, their expressions serious.

In an instant, panic took over.

Taehyung’s mind flashed back to the years of torment he had suffered under his previous family. The sight of so many people in his room brought back memories of the times he was punished—beaten, humiliated, and degraded. He remembered how they would come into his room, just like this, ready to inflict pain on him for any mistake he had made, real or imagined.

“No… no, please…” Taehyung whispered, his voice trembling as he backed away, his heart pounding in his chest. He could feel the walls closing in on him, the terror overwhelming his senses.

The brothers were confused, their worry deepening as they watched Taehyung’s reaction. Jungkook, who had been standing closest to Taehyung, took a step forward, his hand outstretched. “Hyung, it’s okay… We’re just here to talk.”

But Taehyung wasn’t listening. His breathing became rapid, and he felt as if he were drowning in his fear. In his mind, he was no longer in the safety of the Kim household; he was back in that dark, cold room, surrounded by the people who had hurt him for so many years.

“They’re going to hurt me,” Taehyung thought frantically. “They’re going to punish me like before.”

In his panic, Taehyung began to remove his upper clothes, his fingers trembling as he unbuttoned his shirt. His eyes were glazed over with fear, and tears streamed down his face as he struggled to breathe. “I’m sorry… I’m sorry, sir… Please, don’t… I’ll be good… I’ll be good…”

The brothers watched in horror as Taehyung’s trauma unfolded before their eyes. Jin’s heart broke at the sight, and he immediately rushed forward, grabbing Taehyung’s hands to stop him from undressing.

“Tae, no! You don’t have to do this!” Jin cried, his voice filled with anguish. “We’re not going to hurt you! We’re your brothers, remember? We love you!”

But Taehyung was too far gone, trapped in his nightmare. He struggled against Jin’s grip, still trying to remove his clothes, convinced that it was the only way to avoid punishment. “Please… don’t hit me… I’ll do whatever you want… Just don’t hurt me…”

Jungkook, tears streaming down his face, joined Jin, wrapping his arms around Taehyung in a desperate attempt to comfort him. “hyung, it’s me! It’s Jungkook! Please, don’t be scared… We’re not going to hurt you…”

Namjoon and Hoseok quickly followed, trying to help calm Taehyung down. Yoongi and Jimin stood by, their hearts aching, unsure of how to help.

“Tae, listen to us,” Namjoon said, his voice firm but gentle. “You’re safe here. No one is going to hurt you. We’re your family, and we would never do anything to harm you. We just come here to talk, baby.”

Hoseok gently stroked Taehyung’s hair, his voice soothing as he spoke. “You’re safe now, Taehyung. You’re with us… We love you so much.”

Little by little, the warmth and sincerity in their voices began to reach Taehyung. His frantic movements slowed, and the fear in his eyes gradually subsided. He blinked, as if coming out of a trance, and looked around at his brothers, who were all holding him, their expressions filled with love and concern.

“J-Jungkook…?” Taehyung whispered, his voice shaky and uncertain.

Jungkook tightened his embrace, his tears falling freely. “Yes, Hyung… It’s me. I’m here. We’re all here, and we love you. You’re safe with us.”

Taehyung’s body shook with sobs as he clung to Jungkook, finally allowing himself to believe that he wasn’t alone, that his brothers weren’t going to hurt him. The memories of his past still haunted him, but in that moment, he felt a glimmer of hope, a small but growing belief that maybe, just maybe, he could find a way to heal.

Jin, still holding Taehyung’s hands, looked at his brothers, his eyes filled with determination. “We’re going to help you, Tae… No matter how long it takes, we’ll be here for you.”

As the brothers surrounded Taehyung with their love and support, they knew that the road ahead would be difficult, but they were willing to walk it with him, every step of the way.
