After the incident in the kitchen, Taehyung was left feeling emotionally drained. The panic attack had left him feeling vulnerable and exposed, but it also marked a turning point. Jin’s unwavering kindness and patience had started to crack through the walls of fear that Taehyung had built around himself.

As the day went on, Taehyung tried to find solace in the quieter parts of the house. Jin had reassured him that it was okay to take a break and not worry about the shattered plate. The other brothers, having heard about the incident, approached him with their own forms of comfort, each in their unique way.

Jungkook, in particular, was deeply affected by what had happened. He had always been close to Taehyung, but seeing him in such a state of distress made him realize how much his lovely brother had suffered. Jungkook decided to spend some one-on-one time with Taehyung, hoping to offer him some relief and show that he was not alone.

As evening approached, Jungkook found Taehyung sitting in the garden, staring off into the distance. The cool breeze rustled through the trees, providing a moment of calm amid the chaos of emotions. Jungkook approached quietly, taking a seat beside his brother.

“Hey, hyungie,” Jungkook said softly, trying to sound as comforting as possible. “How are you doing?”

Taehyung looked up, startled by the sudden presence. His eyes were still red from crying, and he blinked rapidly, trying to compose himself. “I-I’m okay, sir,” he said quietly, his voice tinged with uncertainty.

Jungkook sighed, placing a reassuring hand on Taehyung’s shoulder. “You don’t have to pretend with us, hyung not atleast with me. I know today was hard. It’s okay to feel scared and overwhelmed.”

Taehyung’s gaze fell to the ground. “I-I don’t understand why you’re all so kind to me. I… I don’t deserve it.”

Jungkook’s heart ached at Taehyung’s words. “You deserve all the kindness in the world, My hyungie. You’ve been through so much, and we want to be here for you. We love you, and that’s not going to change.”

Taehyung looked up at Jungkook, his eyes filled with a mixture of hope and doubt. “But what if… what if this is just like before? What if you’re only being nice now and then—”

“No,” Jungkook interrupted gently but firmly. “We’re not like that. We’re your family, Tae-hyung. We’re here to help you heal, not to hurt you.”

Taehyung bit his lip, struggling to hold back his tears. Jungkook’s sincerity was like a balm to his wounded heart, but the scars ran deep. He wanted to believe in the love and care that Jungkook and the other brothers were offering, but the fear of being betrayed again was a constant shadow.

Jungkook sensed Taehyung’s internal struggle and decided to change the subject to something more comforting. “How about we go for a walk? Just you and me. I’ll even let you pick the route. It might help you clear your mind a bit.”

Taehyung hesitated but nodded, finding comfort in the simple gesture. He stood up slowly, and Jungkook offered him a hand. As they walked through the garden and out into the nearby park, the serenity of the surroundings began to have a calming effect on Taehyung.

The park was a beautiful place, with blooming flowers and a gentle breeze. They walked in silence for a while, the tranquility of the environment helping Taehyung to relax. Jungkook occasionally pointed out interesting sights, trying to keep the conversation light and engaging.

As they reached a quiet spot under a large tree, Jungkook stopped and turned to Taehyung. “You know, Tae, I used to come here a lot when I needed to think. It’s a peaceful place.”

Taehyung looked around, taking in the beauty of the park. “It is nice,” he admitted, his voice soft.

Jungkook smiled. “I’m glad you think so. I know things have been tough, but remember, you’re not alone. We’re all here for you, and we want to help you through this.”

Taehyung felt a warmth in his chest, a glimmer of hope he hadn’t allowed himself to feel in a long time. He took a deep breath, trying to push aside the fear and doubt. “Thank you, J-Jungkook,” he said quietly. “For everything.”

Jungkook’s smile widened. “Anytime, hyung. We’re family, and family looks out for each other.”

As they continued their walk, Taehyung found himself slowly letting go of some of his fears. It wasn’t easy, and there were still many hurdles to overcome, but the support and love from his brothers began to chip away at the fortress of fear he had built.

That night, as Taehyung lay in bed, he thought about the day’s events. He knew that trust wouldn’t come easily, and the path to healing would be long and difficult. But for the first time in a while, he allowed himself to hope for a better future—a future where he could believe in love and kindness again.

And as he drifted off to sleep, he clung to the hope that maybe, just maybe, the Kim brothers were the family he had always dreamed of finding.
