The sound of caps being tapped was heard throughout your office, your (E/c) eyes stared onto your screen as words appeared again and again as you could feel them begin to strain as you signed before leaning back into your seat. Your eyes were closed as you felt your hands run through your hair before opening them, only exposing the golden cracks that speeded through your arm.

They seemed to crack further as you felt your heart clench for a brief moment, though it wasn't until you heard heel clicking did you go back to your work. A familiar blonde stuck her head into your office as you stopped your typing for a brief moment. "Miss Jessie is here now, would you like me to bring her in?" She asked as you broke your eye contact from your laptop, looking at her you nodded before going back to your work.

After a few seconds your door opened once again though this time Jess entered in with a bright smile. "Sit down please.." you motioned her to take the seat in front of your desk as you closed the computer before holding your hands in front of you "Holy crap what happened to you? You look like a broken porcelain doll.." Jess flinched back as she stared at your cracked face and fingers.

"I told them.." You mumbled, it was clear it didn't register in her mind until she slammed her hands onto your desk. "YOU TOLD THEM?" Jess screamed as she stood up from her seat, she began walking around your office as you slammed your head onto your desk repeatedly. The embarrassment and shame washed over you as you recalled the aftermath of last night's confessions.

You could feel your deepest demons scream in embarrassment as the villains stared back at you with unfathomable expressions, though you could only imagine what they looked like as your eyes were glued shut along with your hands covering your face from them. Your face was beat red as you heard some shuffling from the couches, you had to admit this was by far the worst mistake you'd ever done.

"(Y/n), darling please come here" You could feel cracks beginning to spread throughout your skin as you heard the villains attempt to converse with you. Though that was quickly thrown out the window as you suddenly disappeared, a golden ball of dust was replaced by your embarrassed figure "Where did she go!?" Diego questioned as he reached towards the golden dust.

"She confessed.."

"She finally confessed..."

"HOW COULD YOU DO THAT?!" Jess asked as you finished your shameful iteration of last night's events "I mean it just kind of blew out and I had to, especially with the ceremony coming to a close. I can't take the risk of not telling them.." your eyes avoided her own as she had her mouth hanging opened "Isn't the ceremony in like two days?" Jess asked as she looked around your office, to which you gave a nod.

"Yes, and with the ceremony I need you to do a small favor for me" Jess furrowed her brows as her eyes broke away from the painting that hung in your office. The painting itself was nothing special, just having your parents behind a straight faced younger version of yourself. Though if Jess were to look between your current self and the painting, she could see the subtle joy that sparkled in your younger eyes.

"So what do ya need me to do? Oh, Are you finally going through with your plan to conquer the world?!" she said happily, clapping her hands together as you laughed before shaking your head "No, but it is very important, so that's why I need you to distract the villains while I handle business with the elders after the ceremony"

Her eyes narrowed for a moment as you continued to stare into her eyes, a small sparkle was flashing in your iris as you gave a reassuring smile to your friend "Oh so you were serious with that plan?" She asked as she slammed her hands onto the desk, earning a raised eyebrow from you "I mean I did say I would do it no matter what"

"Yeah but weren't you like eleven when you made that?" she questioned as she fell back into her seat "I was an unhinged kid Jessie, Of course I would eventually do it. I just needed the perfect time to do so" you said with a shrug, Jess seemed to think for a second as you took out a small bowl of her favorite chocolates, earning her attention quickly as she nodded her head. "True True...I mean why not? I'll do it (N/n)~" you gave a final smile at her as she began chowing down on the chocolates.

"That's great! So now I need you to sign this NDA and do you know how much an assistant makes?" you asked as you took out  a stack of paper before handing her a pen "No.." she mumbled as her mouth was filled with chocolate, though she did manage to pick up the pen before signing each line you showed her.

"Why did I even ask you? You're a trust fund baby.."

"And I'll take the lobster!"

Jess and yourself sat at a table at a well known restaurant, much to Jess's request since she wanted to learn more info though she obviously couldn't do so without a meal. You handed your menu to the waiter as he gave a polite smile before leaving. "I should just run away and change my name.." you grumbled as you massage your temple.

"Nah, you dug your grave. It's time you lay in it now" She watched as you sighed dramatically before leaning back into your chair with a pout "Look if they don't want you, which I doubt since there's nine of them and one of you, you could always get other fish in the sea~"

You would have considered Jess's words if it was not for the fact that she said the exact same thing to you when Daniel broke of your engagement "You really gotta stop reusing words with me Jess" She playfully smacked your arm as she took out a pen before writing something onto her napkin "Look I'll show you the master" Soon the waiter came back with your drinks, though you did notice how Jess fluttered her eyelids in an attempt to be bashful.

"Oh it seems like my napkin is dirty, will you be a dear a get me a new one~" She asked as she leaned closer to the poor waiter and handed her napkin to him "Oh I'm sorry Miss but I'm engaged.." he said as he quickly flashed his engagement ring to you both, earning a series of laughter from you and apologies from Jessie. As the waiter left she quickly turned back to you "Holy crap we gotta leave now." she harshly whispered as you gave her a confused look "What?! My breadsticks haven't come yet!"

"I don't care, let's go!"

Your reluctance of going back home was clear, especially with you practically clinging onto anywhere that would further stop Jess from getting you to your beloved home once again. Like a cat being dragged to a bath you pleaded with your friend to put you out of your misery "I'm not doing that (N/n), you're going to have to suck it up like I did when I found out that waiter was engaged"

Giving her a side glance you went back to looking out the window as she rambled "To be fair Jess, you aren't going to ever see home again, but with the villains I have to see them every single day." she scoffed as she suddenly slammed her brakes "Do not forget who you are as a person, you're not just a loser who loves morally wrong villains; YOU ARE MORE THAN THAT!"

"And if they reject you, put them in the basement.."

Jess's words were heartwarming to a certain degree as you gave a smile to her before nodding your head proudly "You're right Jess! I am more than who they think of me to be!" She smiled proudly at you as you suddenly heard the door open behind you, thanks to her stand that waited just outside the passenger side door.

"Great! Now get out of my car."

"What."
