Abhinav slowly opened his eyes, feeling the warm sunshine seeping through the window of the hut. He felt a heavy weight on him and saw his precious son sleeping on him. He cuddled Abhir close smilingly. He loved such mornings where his son was sleeping on him without any care. Usually, boys are more like mumma's boy. But in their case his son is extremely attached to him. And he thanks God that he blessed him with such a beautiful family of his own.
Abhinav sleepily looked for his phone to check the time. It's seven in the morning. He decided to get up. He freshened up and thought to call his Akshara.
He picked up his phone and called her. After few rings she picked up his call and said
"Good morning, Abhinav "
"Good morning biwi. You got ready?"
"Yup. Just leaving for court. Need to reach a bit early. Baarish suru hai na. So, I will have to drive slowly."
"Okay. Drive safely. Don't stress out. And text me once you reach okay."
"Yes Abhinav. Me yaad se text karugi aapko. Love you."
"Love you too."
Abhinav kept his phone and thought to wake his son.
"Abhir. Get up betu. Chalo. Utho ab. Fir hume breakfast bhi karne jaana hai."
"SPM papa." Abhir muttered sleepily.
"Oh nikkeji. Koi paach minute nahi milege. Chaliye ready hone hai. Aur hume fir Jana bhi toh hai ghumne. Chalo yara late ho jayega bohot." Abhinav said.
Abhir got up sleepily and raised his hands so that Abhinav could pick him up in his arms. Abhinav smiled and took his precious son to the bathroom so that he can freshen up.
Both of the father son duo got up looking like the awesome father son duo they are.
Abhinav locked the hut behind and went to the mess for breakfast. Both of them took their breakfast plates. Abhinav looked for an empty space and soon found one. He took both of their plates and sat on the table. While helping his son sit on the chair.
Both of them were having their breakfast when a cute voice called him,
"Doog morning Uncle." Roohi chirped seeing Abhinav.
Abhinav turned to see Roohi and smiled widely.
"Good morning little butterfly. Aaj toh aap bade pretty lag rahe ho." Abhinav smiled.
"Thank you, uncle." Roohi said smilingly.
The she turned towards her father and said,
"Poppy hum yaha uncle ke saath baithege."
Abhimanyu smiled and nodded to his daughter. And kept their breakfast plates. He helped Roohi sit on the chair. And on either side Abhimanyu and Arohi sat. Arohi gave a small smile to Abhinav.
"Poppy me canpake khud cut karugi. Me big girl ho gayi hu na." Roohi said to Abhimanyu.
Abhimanyu smiled and said,
"Pancake princess. And sure. Agar aap khud se karna chahte ho toh akro. But agar aapko help chahiye na toh puch lena princess."
"Tum bhi na Abhimanyu. Woh idhar udhar gira deti hai. Aur apna dress bhi spoil kregi." Arohi said.
Hearing her matashree, Roohi looked at her poppy with puppy eyes. And seeing her puppy face Abhimanyu said,
"Comeon Aarohi. Bachhi hai. Let her do it. It will be all fine. Princess aap kaho."
Roohi smiled and started eating slowly.
Abhinav smiled seeing the little princess. And his heart ached with a heavy want of his own cute princess to pamper and cherish. His heart cried for the lost chance of pampering his Babygirl.
