I woke up at 2am and heard someone knock on the door. I jumped out of bed and ran down stairs to the door still half asleep. I opened the door and saw gold standing there in the dark.
"Hey whatcha doing here at 2 in the morning?" I ask opening the door.
"Hey," he says and gives me a hug.
"It's 2 am Misty and I were trying to sleep why are you at my house?" I ask again.
"Lauren I wanted to tell you I want to stay at home for awhile. I have no doubt that you can do the rest of your journey on your own, I've just been away from home so long and I owe it to my parents from every time I said I would come home and never did," he says.
"No it's okay! I get it!" I say still half asleep.
"Do you really?" He asks.
"Yes!" I say yawning. "good bye kiss?" I ask sticking my arms out for him to hug me.
"Okay," he says and hugs me and makes out with me.
"Hey!" I hear Misty's voice. "I was wondering if you had any juice because I was---" she starts and then probably sees gold and I. "actually you know what? I'll check your fridge myself," she says.
"Bye," he says when he finally lets go.
"Bye," I say and wave then shut the door.
"You do have juice by the way," she say and takes a drink from her glass.
"I'm surprised there's anything at all in there," I say and walk back over to her.
"I'm surprised you just kissed gold," she laughs.
"Yeah..." I say getting my own juice out of my fridge.
"He definitely likes you," she says and pokes me a few times.
"I know," I smirk. "I like him too," I say.
"Are you going out?" She asks and starts poking again.
"Sorta... Well not really... well yes?" I say questioning myself.
"Okay that's cute, there's something if like to tell you while we are on the topic," Misty says shyly.
"OMG did ash ask you out yet?!?!?" I scream and start jumping like a fan girl. Misty breaks down in giggles at the sight of me.
"Yes! he did!" She screams through laughs.
"Yay!" I yell and keep jumping, "we had too much sugary juice!"
"That's right!" Misty yells and keeps jumping with me.
"We should go back to bed!" I yell and stop jumping.
"Yeah we should," de says and stops.
