Lauren's pov

"I'm so tired..." I mumble and continue to walk. By now, when I look up I can see the top of the mountain. The snow is a little lighter here, or at least it seems lighter since I'm so used to it. I wonder if Gold told May I left yet. Or if he's coming too. I'm just walking alone with Ty-Ty when someone runs up behind me picks me up bridal style and brings me into a cave. Before I can do anything the person sets me down in the ground in the cave. I didn't even know there was a cave there.
"Woah," I say letting out a deep breath. I was entirely covered in snow. Though the cave was cold, it wasn't snowing. The person is breathing heavy and is also covered in snow.
"Are you happy I came princess?" The person asks. I immediately realize it was Gold even though we are both human snowballs.
"Yay!" I say and run up to hug him. "Don't call me that!" I add still hugging him.
"Why not you sometimes act like one," he adds.
"Thanks," I laugh.
"You're welcome," he adds ruining the sarcasm.
"I didn't think you would come!" I say.
"I didn't plan on it," he says letting me out of a hug.
"Because you're still afraid of Red?" I ask.
"Well," he starts. "Yes and this weather,"
"How does Red live in this?" I giggle. "I've been in this for like 6 hours and I'm already freezing and weak,"
"Then you should have slept," Gold elbows me.
"Haha," I say sarcastically. "That's not me," We sit around in the cave defrosting by the typhlosions.
"You know I really didn't think you would come," I say.
"Well someone promised me they would do whatever I want," gold says. I bite my lip remembering that text.
"Within reason!" I add.
"Yeah yeah shorty I'm not going to tell you to let a hobo rape you," he laughs.
"Okay first of all, I'm not that short, I'm 5'4" and second, I would commit suicide before that," I say and cross my arms.
"No you're short," he says and sets his head on top of mine. I blush and leave my arms crossed.
"Whatever you're just tall," I defend even though May is taller than me too. May is 5'6" and Gold never calls her short. Actually, truth to be told, I was shorter than most of the poké girls but I didn't want to tell Gold that or my new permeant nickname would be shorty.
"You've done this before right?" I ask.
"Yeah why?" He asks.
"When do you think we should leave?" I ask.
"Whenever you're ready I'm following you," he says.
"Okay," I say.
