Chapter 3: Storms After Storms

Kyle's POV:

The intercom then turns off with a click. Me and Dacian stared as the room began to turns darker and red mist is appearing inside.

"Well, shit." Dacian says. "What do we do now, stay here..? We can't go to the breach shelter.. It's far from here and the subjects must've already roaming around.." I ask. I looked at Dacian as he was sitting in his bed, and think about his decision.

"Well.. Uhh.. You're right, let's stay here for a moment.. I'm sure the subjects will leave alone the way we're gonna go through soon. Let's barricade the door first.. Shall we?" Dacian replied.

He then closed the door, we began to place things like couch, and chairs on the door. Hoping they would barricaded it. "Hey, shouldn't we use your bed too?" I ask.

"No, besides.. I love it, it's so comfortable." Dacian replied. "Alright.." I say. We began to wait here for a while..

Before we suddenly hear someone yelling. "HEY! YA ANIMAL! COME CHASE ME! YOU WANT ME! YOU KNOW IT!" Someone says outside, it's quite near.

We then began to hear loud and quick steps echoing outside of the room. And then a loud gun shot can be heard.

"What the heck is that? We'll be safe here right? Do you have any weapons on you?" I ask. "Yeah i have a glock in my holster.. And a baton." Dacian replied.

"Good.. I also have a taser on my cleaning cart.." I say. Dacian then looked at me in confusion. "Huh? Where did you get a taser? Janitor like you shouldn't have things like that?" Dacian ask.

"Ah, found it lying on the floor of the flooded area. I thought the one who owns it, abandoned it so i kept it." I replied. "Well.. Good for you, I guess." Dacian says.

We began to wait longer. I suddenly remember about the yelling. "What's that yelling earlier.. Is there someone here too and they're being attacked by a Gootrax? But.. How the hell did those things used an elevator? I'm so confused." I ask.

"Sshh.. Calm down, we'll be safe here. Just stop being loud will ya? you siren head..." Dacian says. "Fine..." I replied.

We then began to wait longer. Dacian looks pretty bored, and so.. Do i. "You think the way is clear by now?" I ask. "I don't know.. But.. Agh, screw it. Let's go outside! I'm tired of staying here.." Dacian replied.

"Kay.." I say. We began to un-barricaded the door, Dacian then opened the door with his ID card.

We began to take a peek at what's outside.. Ensuring if it was safe to go. There was no one, Except a dead looking manic near the elevator. "Alright.. The way to the elevator is clear.. Let's go!" I say.

We began to ran for the elevator and went inside. (Of course i also bring my cleaning cart with me!) But after we're inside, we suddenly hear someone or.. Something.. Running, it sounds like when you're running on a wet ground and then the water splashes.

Me and Dacian froze in place as a Dagoda runs from a corner, and is now on the hallway to the elevator we're in. It hits the wall pretty hard, then it rubs it's head out of pain, Before looking to the right and then saw us in the elevator.

Dacian, upon noticing this begans to shiver. "CRAAAAP!!!!" Dacian yells, out of panic. "CLOSE THE DOOR DUMBASS!!! CLOSE IT GOD MOTHER FUCKING GOOOD!!!" I say, also panicking.

He began to press the button that closes the elevator door real quick.

The Dagoda then starts to dash into the elevator with it's hungry looking expression and drools coming out of its mouth. "DAMN IT, DAMN IT, WHY WON'T IT CLOSE!!" Dacian says, still pressing the button rapidly.
