The final day of the game had arrived. Coraline and Wybie started making their way back to the other pink palace. It was the part of the game that would get their children released. On their way back, a swirl of clouds appeared, stopping Coraline and Wybie in their tracks. It showed Archer being dragged away just like Cypress had. "No! NO! Archer! We're coming!" Coraline screams. Archer was crying in fear like Coraline and Wybie had never heard before. "Mommy, Daddy! Help me! Help me Mommy and Daddy!" Wybie and Coraline took off running to the pink palace to search for the piece of the wand that had disappeared.

Coraline had a theory of why that piece of the wand disappeared, but she wasn't sure of it just yet, so she didn't share it with Wybie. When they got back to the other pink palace, it looked like an old abandoned house which was very haunting to the couple. They both wandered inside in search of the fairy, the beldam, the last wand piece and the kids all at once. Wybie went upstairs to search while Coraline searched downstairs. In the hallway mirror, Archer was seen tied to the table getting buttons sewn in. He was crying. "My baby! Florence, stop! Fight it, resist the control!" Florence looked in Coraline's direction, but an invisible force shoved her aside and took over. The fairy.

"You monster! Leave him alone!" The fairy cackled. "You better hurry Coraline Lovat, you're running out of time." The image turned to Phoenix and Cypress both tied to stakes with chains and buttons for eyes. They had scared expressions, but weren't talking, almost as if they couldn't, even though they wanted to. Then the image disappeared. Coraline began searching the pink palace again, knowing she was almost out of time, but she couldn't find the missing wand piece anywhere in the pink palace.

Wybie was searching upstairs ontop of door frames and window sills, including outside but was also having little luck. The thunder that Coraline and Wybie had been hearing the past few days had been going on and off. Suddenly, Wybie collapsed in exhaustion. Coraline came running up the stairs to see what the bang was, and saw Wybie on the floor. "Wybie, are you okay? Can you hear me?" But he didn't respond. Before Coraline could shake him, she too, collapsed. The fairy giggled as it watched the couple on the ground.

It must have been a few hours in real time when Coraline and Wybie finally woke up, but the clock outside said 11:00 P.M. Coraline gasped. "Wybie! We only have an hour to find the wand! Let's go!" Coraline and Wybie raced around the house, searching frantically when Coraline spotted a trap door in the boiler room. She'd never seen it before, and there wasn't one in the real world. "Wybie! Come look at this!" Wybie came rushing towards her, and she pointed out the trap door to him. "Where do you think it leads?" He asks. "I think it leads to where we need to be." She opened the door, revealing a secret passage way with a long staircase.

Coraline and Wybie rushed down the long staircase, leading to a sub basement. Both Coraline and Wybie recognized the room the staircase led them to. It was a room with red walls, the same red walls that Coraline and Wybie saw in the background when their kids were first taken. As they kept going, they found another door. The door led through a corridor that they both recognized as the hallways that their children were dragged through before they got their buttons sewn on. Coraline and Wybie knew they were getting closer.

The corridor led to a room with the table that the kids were all tied to, but the room was empty. Drawers with buttons were left open, shelves were knocked over, needles were spread out on the table, thread spools were all over the floor and the window was wide open. Wybie went to look out the window, only to see a clear night sky as if they were floating in space with no planets nearby. Coraline came up to him and tapped his shoulder. There was another trap door. Wybie opened it and entered it first with Coraline following behind him.

They entered the scariest room they've encountered in the entire other world. Monstrous looking eyes were staring at them as they walked by. Large spiders like the ones they encountered on their first day dangled from webs. All the bat dogs were hanging on the ceiling. Wybie pulled Coraline close then took out a flashlight. At the back of the room were the kids, still bound to the stakes with chains and buttons for eyes. "Phoenix, Cypress, Archer!" Coraline and Wybie went running up to their kids, who finally were able to talk. "Mom? Dad!" Phoenix called out to them once he could hear them.
