After the 4th of July, it was time for Coraline, Wybie and the kids to go home. Mel and Charlie hugged them all, then sent them on their way. As Wybie was driving away, the neighbors were pulling back in. Coraline was watching them in the rear view mirror. "They'll be alright." Wybie says to her. "I know." Coraline was always grateful for the neighbors since they were so helpful to Coraline's parents. When they arrived at the airport, everything went smoothly. Coraline sat with her kids at the gate as they waited to board the flight.

The flight home was peaceful, and Cypress wasn't afraid of take off. Coraline was proud of her, but of course, her encounter with the other world may have taught her that there are scarier things out there, so it's best to conquer your fears. The flight landed, and the family was glad to be home. Coraline and Wybie picked up the car, and drove home. Phoenix got back to searching his family tree, but decided to start searching on Wybie's side. Cypress started playing with other little girls on their street, and Archer played with his new toys.

Life couldn't be better. Coraline was happy to see her kids as happy as kids should be, to be married to Wybie and the feeling that she had done the right thing by freeing Florence from the other world and that horrible curse. Coraline decided to work from 7:30 to 4:30 for the summer. She even hired a co-manager to take over her job duties if she can't or when she's on leave. This made Phoenix happy. One night, it was particularly beautiful. There wasn't a single cloud in the sky, just a beautiful moon as the stars began to appear, so Coraline and Wybie set up the patio and had dinner outside.

After dinner, Phoenix played with Cypress and Archer in the backyard while Coraline and Wybie watched. When it got dark, everyone went inside and watched a movie together. When the kids went to bed, Coraline and Wybie stayed up. They sat back outside on the patio, staring at the sky. Something about the stars and moon was peaceful to them. Maybe it was the idea of freeing Florence, maybe it was the peace of knowing that Mel and Charlie have their young neighbors back, or maybe it was that life was good. Either way, there was no fairy to threaten them or their family ever again, and all was well.
