Smithy and Becca had known eachother since 2001. It was now 2008, and they both had feelings for each-other, they also had to learn to grieve over Smithy's best friend, who also happened to be Becca's brother.

BRADLEY grinned as he and Smithy walked through sun hill police station, hands in their pockets. It had just been bonfire night, and obviously the two were hungover from last night's events. Becca was obviously less hungover than the two men, but still felt a little groggy, she felt weird being back in work after all the excitement, but it was her job to help people after all.
"Oi, oi!" Bradley called out to his baby sister, strutting over with a grin. "You and your annual fireworks kisses, hey?" he jokes, nudging her shoulder. "Who was it this year?"
"What?" Smithy stammered, holding his head as he walked over to the Bond siblings. "What's this?" he quizzed as he gagged slightly, clearly hungover.
"Every year, without fail...baby Bex over here has an annual bonfire night kiss." Bradley admits, a grin on his face. "Last year, it was Zain, so who is it this year?"
"Right, you're making me look like a slapper, Bradley." Becca groaned in annoyance, rolling her eyes. "I've only done it twice, Dale...and that was during my 6 years here, so Bradley can stop with the accusations, thank you!" Becca sighs, hitting her older brother on the shoulder.
"Right..." Smithy chuckled softly, feeling a pulse of somewhat jealousy run through him. "So, did you kiss anyone?"
"Yes, I did." Becca retorted, sticking her tongue out at the uniformed Officer. "It was Nate, if you must know."
"Nate?" Bradley scoffed, folding his arms. "You are kidding?" he looked over at Smithy, furrowing his brows. "My baby sister, and PC Nate Roberts?"
"Can you shut up?" Becca slapped his shoulder again, her face turning a shade of red. "I knew I shouldn't have told you." she sighed as she covered her face.
"Aww, Baby Bex is mad!" Bradley chuckles, leaning his arm on his little sister's head. "She's like a mini arm rest, ain't ya?"
"Will you stop it?!" she yells out, clearly annoyed by her brothers antics. "You're so annoying!"
"Oi, will you two quit it?" Tony groaned as he stared at his two step-children annoyed. "Bradley, stop teasing your little sister."
"Yeah, little." he smirks, sticking his tongue out at Bex.
"I'm not little!" she yells out, her anger fuelling inside her as Smithy just watched this whole situation unfold.
"Sorry about these two, Smithy...should be keeping them on a leash." he joked as he held his back. "Bradley, be a good man and come with me on this shout, eh?"
