This is to build up a head canon and my 100 now 200 challenge by FanFicChad20. This takes place in the Return to Oz universe. I am pulling some inspiration from Tumblr and Fanfiction since there is book stuff or elements from the books. I wished I had all of the books to pull inspiration from but I don't so some pieces of the books I am pulling from Tumblr and Fanfiction.

Two owls flew in different directions with a letter. One for Lion, the king of the Beasts, and one for Tinman and Scarecrow, the king and co-king of the Winkies. The three were summoned to the Emerald city with other kings and Queens for their annual meeting. During that time, they stay for a week to settle stuff.
Lion before he left, made sure his kingdom would run smoothly and have some food. Scarecrow and Tinman did the same thing but instead of food, they had to worry about oil for Tinman. After a few days of travel, they made it to the Emerald city. There was news sharing between them for the first day and deciding stuff for the next six.
The first night, everyone that needed sleep was asleep but Lion. He was catching up with his two other friends since it has been a while since the last time he had seen them. The two others don't really need to sleep. Scarecrow was retelling how he did the shooting star key to Dorothy since he was proud of it. They were talking in the ballroom since it was not close to the rooms and Scarecrow tens to talk a little to loud when he's happy.
Jack was wandering around the palace out of boredom since he doesn't need sleep as well. Jack wants to ask Scarecrow, Tinman and Lion if want to be his uncles. Soon Jack reached the ballroom and heard voices. Jack peaked inside to find the tiro. Jack didn't interact with them much that day or all week in previous meeting weeks since they were so busy. Jack walked in to hopefully spend time with them.
"Hello Mr. Scarecrow, Mr. Tinman, and Mr. Lion" Jack happily said to the group of three.
"Hey Jack" Scarecrow happily greeted Jack while Tinman and Lion waved. "How's your night going?" Scarecrow chuckled.
"It's going good so far" Jack happily said.
"That's wonderful to hear Jack" Tinman happily said.
"I'm glad all of us have our night going well" Lion said, with some tiredness in his voice.
"You don't mind if I can hang out with you three tonight?" Jack asked.
The group nodded to each other in an agreement to let Jack stay.
"Sure thing, Jack" Scarecrow happily said.
Jack sat on his knees in a gap in the circle of the group.
"So what are you guys talking about?" Jack asked.
"We are listening to how Mr. Wise nut over here was able to send a key to Dorothy by a shooting star for the 5th time in a row" Lion chuckled as he pointed to Scarecrow, obviously in a joking manner.
"Five times I see. Wonderful guess, I lost count after two" Scarecrow said in a joking manner back at Lion. "More like 7"
Tinman chuckled at his friends joking around. Jack on the other hand sat there nervously. Tinman put a hand on Jack's shoulder.
"You ok there kiddo?" Tinman asked Jack.
"I'm fine" Jack replied. "I came in here originally to ask you three, a question" Jack happily said.
"Oh, another question, after this I'm going to bed" Lion yawned.
"May you three be my Uncle figures?" Jack asked innocently.
The group looked at Jack for a second, processing what had been asked. Scarecrow tilted his head to his side, clearly thinking of the right response. Tinman side hugged Jack with a big smile. Lion got up and went to Jack's other side for a hug. Scarecrow followed Tinman's and Lion's lead. Jack was a bit confused but tried his best to hug back.
"Gladly" Tinman happily said while he pulled away from the hug.
"Will do kid" Lion chuckled as well pulling away from the hug. "This will be a fun surprise for Queen Ozma"
"Mom would be happy, I'm sure she will be" Jack softly said with a hint of joy.
"She would" Scarecrow happily said pulling away from the hug. Scarecrow thought for a second. "I guess I will be Uncle Crow from now on with you kid" Scarecrow joked.
"That makes me, Uncle Lion" Lion chuckled.
"And me as Uncle Tin-" Tinman said before tears of joy started to come out and all of his focus went to that so he wouldn't rust.
Scarecrow went closer to Tinman to wipe his tears with his gloved hands. "Man" Scarecrow finished for Tinman.
"Don't cry Uncle Tin. You can hold my hand if it makes you feel better" Jack said in a slight panic.
Jack took a hand of Tinman's too quickly before Tinman fully answered.
"It's ok Jack and thank you" Tinman said with a small smile.
Lion got an oil can just in case Tinman would rust and waited for him to calm down. Tinman did stop crying happy tears soon enough. Lion yawned.
"Ok, it's past my bedtime. See you three tomorrow" Lion yawned as he started heading to the doors of the ball room. "Good night"
"Good night" Scarecrow and Tinman said at the same time.
"Good night, Uncle Lion" Jack happily said.
Lion happily nodded and left for his room. Scarecrow, Tinman and Jack continued to talk for the rest of the night.
