This idea is one that my mom made.

Dorothy and Lion were close to the Winkie Palace. Dorothy was on Lion's back.
"Are you okay there, Dorothy?" Lion asked Dorothy.
"I think so, I believe I'm coming down with something" Dorothy replied tiredly.
"Well, if you are coming down with something, Tinman and Scarecrow can provide a better place to rest than the forest can for you Dorothy" Lion sighed.
Lion continued to walk with Dorothy still on his back. Soon they made it to the gate of the Palace. Lion went up to the guard.
"Ms., is the Scarecrow or Tinman in today?" Lion asked the guard.
"Why yes, both of them are in today" the Winkie guard replied.
"Great" Dorothy happily sighed.
"Can we see them please?" Lion asked the guard.
The guard nodded and lead the two friends in the gates to the door. The guard opened the door for them and they thanked her. The guard led them to the thrown room where the Tinman and Scarecrow were.
"Sirs, your friends are here" the guard said, getting their attention.
They looked over and Scarecrow jumped up to run to hug Lion and Dorothy. Tinman happily got up to walk to the group.
"Dorothy, Lion, what a wonderful surprise" Scarecrow happily said loudly.
The two friends chuckled and hugged back the Scarecrow.
"Thank you for letting them in friend" Tinman happily thanked the guard.
"No problem sir" the guard happily bowed.
The guard soon left to go back on duty. Tinman as well joined the little group hug. Soon the hug broke and as soon as it did, Dorothy senze in her elbow. The joy quickly turned to worry.
"Are you ok Dorothy?" Tinman quickly asked with worry.
"I'm fine, just coming down with something" Dorothy said.
"You seem like you need rest Dorothy" Scarecrow worriedly said.
"I'm going to be-" Dorothy coughed before finishing her sentence.
"And we are taking you to bed" Scarecrow sternly said. "Follow me Lion"
Scarecrow started to walk with Tinman next to him with Dorothy on Lion's back close behind. They went to a room made for Dorothy. When inside the room, Tinman picked up Dorothy off of Lion's back and sat her on the bed.
"Get some well deserved rest so you can feel better, Dorothy" Tinman softly said as he patted her head.
"I'll try" Dorothy yawned.
Dorothy lead down. Tinman and Scarecrow tucked her in. Over the next few days, Dorothy's sickness seemed to get worse. It was a great worry for her friends. On this day, Tinman was helping Dorothy eat, Scarecrow was passing back and forth, and Lion was watching over the group in the room.
"Scarecrow, you don't have to worry much, I'll get better" Dorothy weakly said to her friend.
"Well that means I can't think of a way to help you feel better" Scarecrow worriedly said.
Tinman helped Dorothy to finish the last of her food. Scarecrow picked up the tray of dishes and headed out with them while Tinman tucked in Dorothy.
30 minutes later Scarecrow still hasn't returned. Tinman knew why.
