Magic breathed a sigh of relief. And that made Seth even more tired – and he was already completely exhausted when he broke the news. I know that he made this decision only because of her.

We were silent. Seth's word is law.

He turned around and disappeared into the hallway. Magic pursed her lips and then stood up, resting her hands on the table.

"Hunter and I will be thinking about our new plan. And you, children, just don't get in the way."

She turned to us.

When the dining room was completely empty, Letha and I exchanged glances.

"Now everyone will walk tense."

She made a face of displeasure.

"Do you think we should lay low for a while?"

"No, no!"

There was instant apprehension in Letha's voice.

"What if they need us? It's better to be on hand. Otherwise, they will also walk around angry. And we'll get in trouble."

I thought about it.

"Then... to the rooms?"

"You can go, but I have a slightly different plan."

Letha got up from her seat.

This remark confused me – I immediately frowned.

"Which one is it?"

"I usually sit with them."

Now I was even more puzzled.

"And what are you doing?"

"I'm just sitting here."

She shrugged her shoulders.

"In silence."

"How interesting it must be..."

I sighed wearily, because I knew it would be better not to separate from the group. This meant I'll have to do what they do.

How awkward and uncomfortable it was. Hunter and Magic, who were sitting over the papers, were actually not that bad. But the fact that Seth was sitting on the couch in the living room, literally next to us, was generally something outlandish. He was definitely thinking the same thing as the guys – it seemed to me that his head was going to burst from overexertion.

It went on for a very, very long time. I almost fell asleep. Seriously. But Letha was surprisingly cheerful – of course, because it was not her first time. At some point, Magic leaned back wearily, clutching her forehead – she was completely exhausted. And then Letha went to the fireplace...

I thought she was cold or... whatever. I wasn't thinking at all. I was convinced that nothing special would happen anyway. But then Letha turned on the vinyl record player, and a sly expression shone on her face...

Honestly? I'm willing to cut off any part of my body – this has never happened before.

She began to bounce a little to the beat of the music, returning to us. Hunter was skeptical about this, as, however, I will not hide it, I was. I cast a wary glance at Seth – he continued to sit motionless, completely immersed in his thoughts. Because of this, I even allowed myself to relax a little.

Magic, on the other hand, watched Letha with a kind of condescension, which is inherent in her when it comes to Letha. I don't know, it seems to me that, despite her reluctance to "watch for children," she got a little attached to her.
