Chapter 34

His POV

The moment I put my hands on her laying body, she would retract, folding her self like mimosa pudica. Her frame would shook everytime I kissed her soft skin. I was a hungry beast and she was doing nothing rather than make it worst for me.
According to her I just wanted my cardinal needs to be satisfied but what I really want was to bind her to me, to let her stay without even uttering a word. I was a man of needs, needs that started and ended with her yet she wasn't ready to acknowledge me.

"PLEASE..." I voiced out my desire, not knowing for what I was begging. May be it was her attention or may be a positive reaction to not make me feel like I was raping her.
"I permitted you My KING" her poisoned filled voice spoke. I never knew she had this much hate in her towards me, a hate too much for even a primal being like me.

How should I tell her the effect she had on me, how will she know that it was a matter of a sign from her and I could win kingdoms for her.
Her words were to be carved on my heart.

If she had tried to fight me off tonight, I would have stopped but in her eyes I wasn't even worthy of it. She just voiced out a No filled with remorse and anger , blinded by her hatred for me yet her words quiet like a cold breeze that made me shiver.

I had seen how she silently tried to beg me for her freedom yet didn't want to talk with me like a wife does with her husband.

"I Promise to never hurt you... even if you stab me or burn me alive, I will protect you... In this world and beyond." I lowered on her and she did too.
Her eyes filled with the raw fear, a fear you would see in women of virtue who guarded themselves for the right man.
A man who I was far from,  and GOD knows how impure I felt just by touching her. I had been inside countless of women and still that GOD granted me with someone so pure. It was unfair to her, so unfair to belong to a man of sins.

"Ah..." her whimpers teased me to break free of the chains I had put around myself for years. The beast wanted to unleash and I knew she was so delicate, I could break her with my desire.

I stared at her eyes for first and then slowly at her form. She was everything a man wanted and more.
"I am going to have you now .. MATE" I said as I removed my briefs.
she stared at me with eyes heavy, not wasting any time I came on top of her to kiss.

She felt shy and uninterested, her heart thumping so rapidly that I could hear it.

And just like that I joined our selves....

she cried and cried and cried, at first I thought I had hurt but then she had hugged me so tight that I had forgotten she hated all this.

"I should stopp..."discomfort laced voice of mine tried to separate from her.

"No... you will come again for it and I don't .. want to do this... A.. again... At least for some mm... months..' she hiccuped and looked at me with tearful eyes.

It broke me to say the least, what a curse it was, to have your woman hate your touch.

".... O..ok" I nodded and keep going on.

she kept crying on my shoulder and I kept saying sweet nothings to her which she listened to but would soon resume her grieve.

Once we were done, I sperated from her.

"Ahhhhh....." she groaned in her sleeping state.
Yes, she had fallen asleep midway of our activities.

I started to get up to have a bath when I noticed the blood stained bedsheet tugged between her legs.
It felt weird...
Happy,sad and proud at the same time.
I looked towards the woman that slept in my bed. The woman I was to spend my life with, slept so peacefully after sacrificing her dignity for her people. Her face didn't once show the pain I had put her throw or the fact that I had snatched her Innocence from her.

She still looked like an angel, untainted by a beast like me.

Sighing I got up but was stopped by a small and shaking hand.

"Wh..where are you going???" she had woken up and was looking at me while lying down.

"I.. imm... I wanted to ..wash.." I smiled at her brokenly, not liking the painful whimper she made everytime she moved, I had hurt her.

"Why???" she asked innocently.
Her lips quivering and eyes widened.

I looked at her confusingly but before I could question anything she said

".. it's not been hours and you are already leaving me on the bed like I'm some bed warmer" she said this so silently it took me a minute to register it all.

"Wh..what..no..no" I tried to move towards her but she scooted away.

"You hurt me with your words.." I looked at her and came back to bed, forcefully moving her towards me.

"
.... Ahh ..
.. you were leaving..." she tried to reason and pushed me away but I caught her hands and held them together.
Her covers falling off and it took me everything not to treat myself with the tempting sight of my WIFE.

"... Yes.. yes for a bath ... Not with the intention to leave you alone after our wedding night " I said and caged her between my arms.

"  I felt used... Impure even a...and .. it's not like I want you to stay.. but you being here ... Makes it less ..dirty.."

she kept looking down while killing me with those words, her sudden attachment wasn't out of love for me but a natural reaction she had no control on.

".  I know it's new for you... Just try to ... Sleep.. I am here " I said not knowing what to say further.
She was in a state of shock and recovery. I am sure she will be back to hating my guts even more than before till tomorrow morning.

But until then she had asked for me and I wasn't going to let the chance of basking in my mate's warmth slide away.

She was sleeping now, her soft snores not less than a music to my ears.

I knew I had worn her out even though I had made sure to not go all wild on her yet it took a toll on her.
My little wife couldn't keep up with my human form, GOD Knows what will she do when the beast shows itself .

Who knows what tomorrow will bring but one thing I was sure of.. my MATE was in my arms.. not entirely by her choice but soon she will be. And nothing can take her away from me not even HERSELF.

Heyyy novasss!!! I know it's been a long journey but this STORY is going to end soonnnn🥰😬😬😬 five to Six chapters max and then we are done and dusted
Also .. just wanted to say that I know most of you must have  wanted some spicy shots but in this STORY I wanted to keep it more on the practical side. There are more important things like emotions and thoughts than just hanky-panky. I still put some tad bits of the deed but not more than that. Keep reading coz the real climax starts from here.
