Chapter 37

Him

Breaking the news to her wasn't easier as I had expected it to be. She seemed almost broken at the thought of me leaving but I guess that's just the harmones.
She always looked at me like a creep, a monster who only liked to feed on her life but what she didn't know was that this monster breathed for her and wasn't ignoring how for the past ten minutes she was withering in the pain I had caused her in the name of intimacy.

My father always said that we men always took sacrifices from women. Be it their love or their womb we never claimed them without pain. And that's the reason he kissed the grounds my mother walked on and so will I.

She was mine to take care of yet it was her doing the most for me.
And by the way my daughter nestled in her chest, I knew I was right claiming her in haste. Woman like her was a dream of every were man and I wasn't going to let it slip.

" It will be fine and besides you want some loneliness to collect yourself." I tested the waters of her.
And just as I guess there was a Storm brewing beneath her.

"Loneliness??? After literally and forcefully trespassing my every boundary and limit! You talk of loneliness..." Her voice broke at the end as she shushed eve on her shoulder.

"YOU don't get to leave alone.. get to STAY alone after using me like that!" She said loathing my sight.

..don't say that" I warned her with my eyes.

"Oh Plz!.. you knew this was gonna happened yet you dragged me in this... What are you gonna do next? ..  get killed on the battleground and leave me impregnated and ... alone" last words got caught in her throat, not Daring to leave her mouth.

"That won't happen! And.... If it did you won't be with child so early..." I reasoned despite knowing how low of a chance it had.

"Yes ... The possibly, the lies ... Hope that you give and then shatter them with your selfish being...
I feel it happening in here .." she said, putting her hand on her womb.

" I know it's gonna happen soon and you are the fool to think it won't despite not leaving any chance to finish inside me" she ended and turned away to put eve to sleep.
Poor baby slept in between the quarrell.

"I don't wanna raise two children alone .. " she whispered and looked at me with tears.

" I hate you, trust me ! But if by any chance I am with child soon, I don't want you to die and leave us" she said while whimpering and wipping her tear stained cheeks.

"I won't ... I promise" I assured her one last time and went to kiss her forehead.

She didn't stop me surprisingly and let me bask in her warmth.

"And the humans..
I am going to sent them off to the safe lands as promised" I stared at her in the eyes and smiled.

Her face showed relief and peace. And she nodded her head. I knew she wanted to thank me but her thoughts held her from Doing so.
I nodded one last time and went to kiss my little fairy.

A name her mother gave her and I couldn't agree more.

"My little fairy.. don't bother your mama much, daddy will be back soon" I kissed her temple and left.

There was a reason I was doing this and it was to protect my family.

Leaving her , I didn't turn back. Not wanting to see her face that could weaken my decisions or had the power to stop me from going away.

I reached the main grounds of our castle and Began monitoring the my men.

They seemed raw and passionate. Fear was never a problem for them because every wolf of our pack treated it with honor. We were taught to respect fear but never be the slave of it. And that's what we were going to do today.

My Beta came running with all the armamentarium for the war and stopped with a halt just before crashing in the wall.

"ALPHA" he payed respect and forwarded the guns and convertible armor that could help us switch between our human and wolf form.

"Thankyou" I told him and nodded while taking the gadgets to put them on.

"I.. we should think about the women.." he voiced his thoughts.

"What about them?" I left what I was doing and turned to face him, wanting to hear him all.

My Beta was a caring man, he had family and a mate. He wasn't someone you would expect to be heartless yet he was here with me in my decision, ready to sacrifice his life and keen on orphaning his child.

"I want you to place the women in the underground castles, it will be safe and even if the beasts run-over us, our families will have enough time to escape from the sea." He ended and looked at me for my reaction.

"Do what you want but don't let Aina know we are even considering this, the last thing I want for is to worry herself to death for someone she barely knows" I firmly gave him a look and put the last clip of the armor in place.

"ALL SET MEN?!" I shouted.

" Yes!" Yeah!!!" "Indeed" ".....yahhh!!!!" The men shouted screamed and portrayed their emotions of bravery.

A men came with my horse and I rode on it.
Patting on horse, I looked at the palace one last time from the main gates when I caught her peeking with my daughter from the window.
Her face screamed pain and fear yet she smiled at me like she cared.

I nodded at her and turned towards my destination.

"Let's Ride SOLDIERS hiyaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!" I screamed and my horse started galloping towards the dawning sun.
