Chapter 18: Just The Way You Are.

 Tomorrow is my graduation from med-school. Everyone here in Japan, Enzo and the gang, my whole family as well. They all wanted to see me get my medical degree and support me tomorrow. It's been two years since I joined Cover Corp. I saw people come and go too, A-chan retired last June 2024. Of course we were devastated, no one was expecting that. But Me and Nodoka got the news ahead of everyone else, so when she announced it. We weren't surprised like the others. Nodoka was anxious too, she had to take a few days off. Knowing she was next in line on A-chan, Sora, Suisei, and Azki were mostly devastated following the news, So I had to give them a week off from work so they could recover from it. A-chan would remain in contact with us from time to time. In the past year, Enzo had a baby with Yuna, Baby Boy in fact. His name is Hamilton, he's 9 months old. Aaron's restaurant is now a 5-star michelin restaurant in Japan, Ronin also has a child now with Brianna, Baby Girl, Her name is Ariana she's 7 months old, Quin also started dating, fairly new so I haven't met her. Anyways, I am shopping right now for an engagement ring for Raden. I am with Hajime and Enzo right now. It's kinda difficult to choose what ring will suit Raden's liking. I wanted it to be simple rather than extravagant,

The clerk gave me a simple gold ring, it looks so simple yet extremely pretty.

Raden doesn't know so I asked Hajime to keep it a secret, then Me and Enzo went to the countryside, where Raden's parents reside.

I found their simple home.

I knocked, and Raden's mom opened it.

"Good Afternoon...Mrs. Juufuutei..Here's some cake. I want to talk to all of you.." I said to her, as I bowed my head to them.

Enzo waited in the car.

I sat down in their living room, Her grandma was there, her father too, they all looked at me.

"Does Raden know you are here?" Her mom asked me,

"That's the thing...Please don't inform her..." I said to them,

"Why? Did you two fight? Is Raden being troublesome?" Her grandma asked me,

"The thing is....I am planning to propose to her tomorrow at my graduation..." I said to them,
