So as we all headed to the beach, they were all wearing flashy bikinis, while I just wore plain old trunks and a plain blue shirt. I'm not planning on swimming, I'll just relax at the shore and watch the girls have fun. I sat down in one of the deck chairs, I put on my sunglasses and just stared at the vast ocean.
"Hey Satoru! Aren't you going to swim?" Mumei shouted,
I shook my head.
She puts a thumbs up.
The beach wasn't crowded probably because it was early and they were all eating breakfast. They were enjoying the cold water and the white shoreline. Mumei went back to shore,
"Hey Satoru, Let's go buy some Ice cream." She said,
"Ah, sure. Did you tell them where we are going?" I asked her as I stood up,
"Yup." She said cutely.
We walked together to the convenience store while talking about random stuff.
"Hey Satoru, what's your ideal girlfriend?" She asked me, I looked at her and paused for a while.
"To be honest, I just like a girl who's kind, sympathetic, empathetic, someone who I can vibe with, caring, understanding, diligent, and hard-working. With a little bit of attitude but still kind. Lastly someone who will try her best to make my day and make me smile and make me fall in love with her everytime I wake up in the morning." I said to her,
"How about looks?" She asked me,
"Hmmm...., I don't mind what she looks like with or without makeup on." I replied to her,
"So Bae can be a candidate?" She asked me jokingly,
"Yeah, she does fall in that category but it's just I'm not really prepared to enter a relationship, especially because she's an idol. I don't like to be the downfall of her career." I said to her,
"Besides, Japan has a bad reputation when it comes to idol culture." I said to her, she nodded in agreement.
"By the way, Satoru! Does my bikini suit me? Does it turn you on?" She said jokingly,
"Yeah, it suits you and yeah it does turn me on." I said blatantly, She blushed and punched me.
"Satoru! I was kidding." She said embarrassingly,
"Well, I am a straightforward person. So just take it as a compliment." I said to her,
Shortly after, we reached the convenience store, she picked some ice cream, she bought me one too.
"Here for taking care of us, and complimenting me and taking care of Bae." She said as she gave me the ice cream.
"Thanks, Moom!" I said to her jokingly.
As we walked back to the others, we stopped by a group of young men, three of them. They look like they're in their late teens, probably in college as I looked at them. They were well built and were taller than me. They were around 5'9 to 6'0. I thought to myself,
"Excuse us." I said to them, they looked at us and pushed me.
"You have a hot girlfriend here, kid." Their leader said,
"Mind if we borrow her for a bit?" He smirked, I gave him a cold glare,
"Excuse us." I said as I grabbed Mumei's hand and tried to walk out of the situation.
