AS IN TODAY, now. The two were off and there was a family event at the bar up the street. Maria and Tommy invited Devon. But the dark-haired woman, Dina, already asked Devon. So obviously, Devon Sawyer was going. Just for Dina's pride.

Devon Sawyer thought the gathering or whatever this thing was—the poor woman thought her, and Dina would be getting drunk off anything they had at the moment and dance like crazy.

No. It was nothing like that. Dina was dancing around with men in the bar. Jumping around, hand in hand swinging herself around. Everyone in the bar eyeballed her, taking in her trip of light fantasticness. Devon didn't step in between any of the men she was dancing with, Dina was having fun. She couldn't ruin that for a friend, it was selfishness in her head.

Before Dina. Devon loved Dina with all of their heart. Dina inspires the young woman, a little too much—she adored with her heart and soul. Now that Devon has Dina as a friend, the girl would say everyone in the world needs at least one friend.

And that one friend was Dina.

The glass in Devon's hand was refilled once again—she couldn't remember how many both her and Dina had at the moment. Devon was standing by the bar, with Jesse who wouldn't stop moving his mouth about how why Dina can still be all right when they just broken up a week ago.

The tipsy woman kept laughing to herself. It was easy, Dina told her. She just has to distract herself which meaning spending all her time with Devon or her other friends. "Dude, she's cool, just leave her be." A groan came from Devon, wanting Jesse to finally shut his pie hole already about her best friend.

"Do you thi—"

"Jesse, the girl will come to you when she wants. Leave it." Devon's eyes rolled to the back her head, groaning again, she already had to hear all of Dina's doubts and feelings getting ahold of herself.
