I have known Naina for so many years. She was the one who believed me when everyone was against me and saw me as a criminal for the offence I had not committed. She is the one who proved me innocent while going against her professional ethics.
Well, Advocates are not allowed to investigate the case, it is considered the job of the police to find, protect, and hand the evidence related to the case in the court.
I still remember how hard Naina tried to find the evidence of me not being near the crime scene reported by that girl and made the girl confess the reason behind those false accusations, which turned out to be my rejection of her proposal. She just wanted me to face the same humiliation that she faced when I rejected her.
Naina made sure to get me released with all respect from charges of Molestation and Sexual Harassment. I was in the last year of college and Naina had just started practising.
Since that day, I promised Naina that I would help her whenever she needed it.
I know about Advait and Naina's past, but it took her a long time to trust me with her past.
I, still remember she said, "It might be the last time that I share my past with someone and I hope it will be a pleasant one." And I promised her never to break the trust.
She doesn't deserve to face any of the blackmailings she is facing right now; she needs someone who can support her, someone who loves her and cares for her.
I know that she feels that love doesn't exist but it does. She may not believe in love but love believes in her. From the bottom of my heart, I wish and believe that she will soon find the one who will shower her with all the love, care and affection and make her realise that not everyone is fake, some people can be trusted.
Next Day
Naina is still in her office reading some related cases, she slept while reading the files around 4 a.m.
When her phone's alarm went off at 8 a.m.
"Shit I need to hurry I only have one hour to reach the court.", saying this Naina went inside her private room to freshen up and take a shower, which took about 20 minutes.
"Dada, gaadi thoda jaldi chalayega late hai ham.", She said the car driver.
(Sir, please drive the car faster, I'm late.)
"Didiji aap itni tension kyu le harih? Aap time see court puhunch jayengi."
(Ma'am why are you taking tension? You will reach the court on time)
"Ok, dada."
(Dada is used for bhaiya in Marathi language)
But then suddenly a car came from the left side and crashed into Naina's car. This scene collected a lot of attention from the public but no one came forward to help.

I was driving my car to the court when I noticed the crowd gathered. I came out of my car to look at what was going on. What I saw next scared the hell out of me.
Two cars crashed, with one halfway inside the other, people around were standing, starting and making videos. (The usual behaviour of the public nowadays)
I immediately called 112(National Emergency Helpline) for help, and till they arrived I tried to accumulate people to save the people stuck inside the car.
The car which was inside the other one had a driver only and we were able to rescue him without much difficulty and he was fully conscious. The other car was thrashed very badly, it had a driver whom we rescued out as he was present on the right side of it, he was not fully conscious.
Then help arrived and before letting us take him to the hospital, he said that there was a girl in the backseat. And when I heard it my heart started beating rapidly like it was giving me a signal that there was someone close to me who was in there. I don't know why it happened.
But, I assured him that we would save her. The team carefully removed the cars and was looking for any signs of life, when suddenly a phone rang. They found it and the ID was Mr. Ashish Mehra.
He was an employee of my enterprise who had a hearing in the court today and I was going for the same.
I answered the phone and what I heard made my soul leave my body, now I knew why my heart was beating so fast.
"Ms. Naina, Ms. Naina where are you? The hearing is about to begin in 10 minutes."
I knew I needed to save her.
"Sir, there is someone inside the car. Please save her. Take her out."
"Sir, we are trying, please stand back and help us call an ambulance. The person inside must be seriously injured."
I wanted her out, I wanted her to be safe, I wanted her beside me, I wanted alive.
I calmed down a bit and called an ambulance and then called Rishi.
"Rishi, hurry and come to the xxxxxxxx."
"But what happened bhai?"
"Come fast, Naina got into a car accident. The fire brigade is trying to take her out."
"What. No this can't happen, I went to see her with Dadu yesterday. She was perfectly healthy."
"I know and she was not driving the car."
"She had a hearing today, she must be there. You by mistake identified the wrong person."
"Rishi, I have her phone in my hand right now. She is severely injured, just come fast."
"No bhai, please say this is a prank, she just got discharged from the hospital."
"I wish I could say that, but no it's not a prank. Now come fast."
With that, I cut the call but I could hear sobbing and denial from Rishi.
Each word I said, was stabbing my heart, all I wished right now was to have Naina safe beside me.
"Sir, how much time will it take to get her out?"
"Sir we are trying."
I didn't say anything after that, I know that they are doing it right but how should I explain it to my heart?
Sarthak's words rang in my ears. "Bhai who are you trying to convince, me or yourself?" "Either way, it won't work, you cannot fool me and you can only fool yourself for some time." "You will have to listen to your heart today or tomorrow." "Kal kare so aaj kar, aaj kare so aab."
" Bhagwan Ji, Mujhe pata hai mei bahut akru hu, but please Naina ko please bacha liye giye. Mere liye bhi aur hamari families ke liye bhi. Mujhe nahi pata ki kyun usko dekh ke mera dil dhadakta hai jab mei uske karib hota hun, par mujhe yeh zrur pata hai ki usko dekhe kar mera dil dhadakta hai who bhi bahut taazi see jab mei uske karib hota hun."
(God, I know I'm very arrogant but please save Naina. For me as well as our families. I don't know why my heart beats so fast when I'm around her but I know my heart beats fast when I'm around her.)
