It took 3 doctors, 4 nurses, 6.5 hours and 11 bags of blood to stop Naina's bleeding.

Everyone in the OT recognised her due to her recent win; thus, they all tried their best to save her. At the same time, Advait was silently praying for her safety. He knew well that it would be tough to operate on her due to those severe injuries.

The car was severely thrashed, and the driver's operation had finished and he was now under observation for 24 hours. Advait did go to check on him.

Who knew that even before 24 hours were over, Naina would again be in the hospital, instead of a room in an OT?

No one still knows whether the accident was intentional or unintentional. Advait knew that every profession came at risk. Businessmen, doctors, lawyers, armed forces, police and politicians, journalists and their families were always at risk of being harmed.

He knew very well that every second of his life was hanging by a thin thread. He knew anyone could betray him, but that didn't stop him from trusting his employees.

On the other hand, Naina didn't care if her life was hanging by a thin thread. She knew people could be loyal, but that couldn't make her trust anyone.

People always thought that she was born with a silver spoon and didn't have to face any hardships. No one, ever, believed her when she told them that she had also faced problems. So, then she just stopped telling anyone.

Earlier Advait received a phone call,

Sarthka called to inform Advait about the company's involvement in the Narisa case. He told Advait about Naina, the lawyer in charge of the case, and how this could affect the company's reputation. The company was not directly involved.

Advait had known that the company was somehow involved in the Narisa case, but even after Sarthak provided information it was unknown how.

This case had earlier become the centre of attention due to the heinous crime of rape and murder involved.

The only problem lies that the evidence is still unknown, no one knows Why, Where, or When she was raped, according to the news reports the police were unable to find any evidence.

Narisa's body was found by a group of college students when they went to trek in the Himalayan range.

The body was brutally damaged and injured, it was fully covered with cuts made by knives, and there were pieces of glass in the eyes, stomach and vagina. Narisa's body was completely naked. Her legs were open wide, her breasts were cut off and her nails were pulled out. She was covered in her blood and dirt.

The scene was horrific, and the group terrified immediately called the police for help.

Once the police arrived, the group was made to return and leave the spot. Later, it was identified that the person was Narisa Megnath, a 23-year-old interning under Arora Enterprise as a fashion designer. Her parents had filed a missing complaint about her a week before her body was found, but the police had not taken any serious actions.

It was after 5 hrs of finding that her parents were informed. Due to the FIR being filed and the scene witnessed by the group, the police were compelled to do a post-mortem test known as an 'autopsy'. In which it was confirmed that she was raped and murdered.

The news of a female being found dead in the woods spread like a forest fire and caused a lot of commotion throughout the country. People started protesting, candle marches were arranged, and young adults even arranged plays depicting how women react when they are raped- no one wants their body to be violated and the police could not maintain law and order in the country. Several rumours spread throughout the country.

Everyone wanted answers.

The petition was first filed in the Delhi High Court by the parents of the victim, but due to the seriousness of the situation it was transferred to the Supreme Court.

Several news channels interviewed the parents, and the police are still trying to find some concrete evidence because till now they only have the testimony of the employee working. There are no suspects or clues. The case is still pending due to the same.

People's protests wanted answers to questions. The government wanted this matter to be solved without facing any criticism. The parents wanted justice for their daughter. Police wanted to be free from any responsibility.

But none got what they wanted, everything is the same as before. Will anything ever change? Or will the society continue to be degraded?

In today's world even if it is so developed to have robots replace humans, it is still insufficient to be able to protect women. The increase in crimes against women shows that we have moved 10 years back in terms of safety for women.

Why would someone want to live in this world, where they feel threatened every single second, where they don't know if they are safe even in their house?
