Y/N and Peter sat on top of the tall building as the sunset covered the New York skyline. Y/N had just finished telling Peter everything that had happened to him up to this point. Peter nodded with interest and intrigue.

Y/N: And that's basically how I got to here.

Peter: So, you got powers and decided to become a superhero... because of me?

Y/N shrugged.

Y/N: Yeah. I mean, you're a hero who really gets people. You're not out there fighting off robots and then going home to a plush high rise tower or secret military base. You're out there with the people helping with mundane things. I find that pretty admirable.

Peter exhaled, turning and putting his head down in thought. He was only really just learning how to be a hero himself. Could he really teach someone else?

Y/N: Plus, it helps that we have the same power set.

Peter: Yeah, I guess it does.

The two sat there, lost in thought for a moment. Y/N then asked a particular question.

Y/N: Hey, I've been meaning to ask this. Your webs, are they natural? Do you secrete them or do you use some kind of elastic material similar to rope?

Peter chuckled. He pointed down at his wrist.

Peter: No, I actually designed them myself. They're a synthetic mixture that has a makeup similar to a spider's web, only with a much stronger tensile strength.

Y/N: That is amazing! So, you actually made them and just swing around all day?! That's incredible!

Peter: Yeah? I could show you how to make the fluid.

Y/N: Thanks, I may need the help. Chemistry's not really my thing. My brother's always been more inquired in that field than I. But those web shooters, that's impressive.

Peter: What is your passion, then?

Y/N shrugged.

Y/N: I'm kinda all over the place, but engineering is more by specialty.

Peter: Yeah? Maybe I can put in a word with Mr. Stark for you.

Y/N eyes went wide.

Y/N: Wait, Stark? As in Tony Stark? You'd do that for me?

Peter: Sure. The world could always use another brilliant mind.

Y/N's mouth was wide open in a smile. He eventually composed himself and turned. Both he and Peter looked out over the New York sunset, the sky filled with hues of pink and orange light.

Peter: It's incredible, really. I used to think I was alone. Now I've got someone else who knows exactly what it's like to have these responsibilities.

Y/N: You think it's a bit much? What if something big arises?

Peter: Then we'll learn and face it together, I guess.

The two looked over at one another with grins on their faces. After a moment, they both chuckled and stood up.

Peter: Alright, I better get going. Practice at noon tomorrow. You got the address?

Y/N: Memorized.

Peter gave him a thumbs up and put on his mask. He then leaped off the building. Y/N watched in amazement as the Spider-Man fell for a moment before shooting out a web and swinging off into the distance. Y/N eventually put his own mask on and crawled down the side of the building.
