Y/N was eating breakfast with the rest of his family. His father walked in with a cup of coffee in hand.

David: Morning, boys. How are you guys feeling?

Grant: Alright.

Y/N: Better.

David: That's good to hear.

Julia walked into the living room, turning on the TV to see any breaking news overnight. She pointed to the screen which was showing a robbery from last night.

Julia: Look at this.

The entire family looked over at the screen. Y/N tried to hide a small grin with what he saw. It was security footage from his "adventure" last night. He was seen flipping around the room, hidden by his mask and dodging bullets.

Grant: Another superhero in New York? Geez, you'd think we'd have enough by now.

Julia: Yeah, but look at that. He saved that poor girl and even paid her money. Apart from Spider-Man, I can't think of many heroes willing to look out for the locals so directly.

David: He certainly seems genuine. Look at that speed and form.

Julia: You think his family knows what he's doing?

Y/N continued looking at the screen with a smirk.

Y/N: Yeah, about that guy...

David: If I was them, I'd be quite impressed with his skills.

Julia: But it looks so dangerous.

David: Yeah, but I'm sure they'd be proud.

Julia: Still, a teenage superhero? Who would want that kind of pressure on themselves knowing not only that their kid is out there, but has a higher chance of coming home injured more than kids already do. Just think if he was killed!

David: I'm sure he means well. But you may be right. Who knows what kind of pressure they'd constantly be under.

David then turned around, realizing his eldest son was trying to speak.

David: I'm sorry, Y/N. I cut you off. You were saying?

Y/N but his lip, thinking for a moment.

Y/N: I was saying... I think the new hero's pretty neat. He kinda reminds me of Spider-Man.

Grant: Except less cool. He really needs to work on a better costume.

Y/N: I'm sure he's just starting out. Maybe it was a spur of the moment thing.

Grant: Yeah. Well, he should probably get a good tailor. Make something recognizable.

Y/N: Maybe, if he can afford one.

Grant: He's a superhero. I bet he's got some kind of money. If not, I'm sure people would be willing to pay for street performances. "Introducing the new swinging wonder! Watch as he gracefully leaps over a garbage truck in a single bound!"

Grant chuckled at his own joke. Y/N jokingly slapped him on the arm and chuckled alongside him. Grant continued chuckling, but rubbed his arm. Y/N seemed to have exerted a bit more force than was necessary.

Later, Y/N was sitting alone in his room. His mind was spinning with different ideas and debates. He wanted so badly to tell his parents that it was him who saved that woman. To tell them what he could do. But at the same time, he didn't want to put that kind of pressure on them.
