Going off from the information Blaidd and Gowry had for me, I had a destination now. If I could find the designs for the Golden Needle, I could bring it to Gowry and have him make it. And then, all I had to do was find Malenia and convince her to help me cure myself.
I gathered the medallions I needed, made my way through the blinding snowfield and solved the secret of the town before reaching a portal. Upon passing through it, I found myself on a branch. A giant branch covered with rot that emanated from the giant ruined Haligtree.
Mutasim: I'm coming for you, Malenia.
I mutter under my breath, determined to avoid Shabriri's desire. I progress through the Haligtree, fighting rot-infested humanoid figures, demi-humans and a Royal Knight riding atop a horse. With all these foes dead, I continue making my way down until I reached the capital. The world around me now shone brightly, as if untouched by war and deterioration. A low sigh leaves my lips and I walk across a bridge, meeting with a Cleanrot Knight.
The Knight charges at me, wielding its staff imbued with holy light. Utilising the Frenzied Flame, I set the Knight ablaze, burning them to ashes. With the Knight out of my way, I find myself entering a Church. And a pleasant surprise was there to greet me.
Millicent: Mutasim? What brings you here? I thought you were going to burn the Erdtree?
Mutasim: And I will. But before I do, I heard that there is a way to subdue the Frenzied Flame. Once I've acquired it, then I'll burn the Erdtree and use the needle to subdue it. I need the schematics and Malenia's rot.
Millicent: I... I see. Then it would seem we're both here for the same reason. May I accompany you?
Mutasim: Yes. Are you ready to move now?
She nods and arms herself with her sword.
Millicent: Of course. Lead the way.
I nod and the two of us make our way through the Haligtree capital. We fought through the soldiers, Erdtree Avatars and more before reaching a strange sight. Four women with red hair stood in front of us, all armed.
Millicent: What? Who are...?
Mutasim: They look a lot like you.
Leader: Of course she does. We're her sisters.
Millicent: I... I have sisters?
