Episode 5: Buzz of The Beetle

A few days after the beating he received from Rhino, the reinvigorated Peter is roaming the streets. It's night time and for once everything is peaceful.

"Alright, start small. No need to fight at the end of the world yet. Let's do this."

Peter jumps around looking for some action, and he finally finds something. There is a thief trying to carjack someone with a crowbar. Peter jumps down to surprise him.

"Back off freak, this car is my turf!"

"Hold up, you think I'm trying to steal the car you're stealing?"

"Why else would you be wearing that crap disguise?"

"No-I just...wow. You know what.. Just come at me with the crowbar."

The man swings at Peter, but he effortlessly dodges it. Peter eventually just stops him with one hand.

"Boy, I love being stronger than people!"

He tosses the crowbar away and punches him into a wall. It knocks the man out cold.

"Oh yeah, perfect streak, never lost!"

Peter slowly hangs the guy up on a street light for the cops to pick him up. He walks about thirty feet away before the web snaps and hilariously drops the guy in the background.

"Well that's all in a day's work. Better get home and get some sleep for school tomorrow."

That's exactly what Peter is going to do, but something is catching his eye. Up around some of the taller buildings in the background he sees some sort of bizarre glow. A yellow trail with something moving in front of it. It vanishes around the corner of a building a few seconds later. Peter is of course curious and fires a web, only for a tiny bit to spurt out.

"I'm out already? So that's why the guy fell. I need to start making more cartridges. Maybe I was just seeing things."

Peter is forced to jump and parkour his way back home. The scene transitions to the headquarters of a random company called Oakers. Some security guards are guarding a strange computer chip protected by a small forcefield.

Guard 1: "What do you even think this thing is?"

Guard 2: "No idea. We don't get paid enough to know anyway."

Guard 3: "I heard a rumor that this is some sort of connected network."

Guard 1 : "Connected? Connected to what?"

Guard 3: "No clue, but I heard it's sought after, and it's often moved between facilities."

Guard 2: "That sounds important."

The power to the facility suddenly goes out. The barrier guarding the chip is still active because it runs on a separate power source.

Guard 1: "You just had to open your big mouth, huh Russel?"

Guard 3: "I'm sure it's completely unrelated and just horribly ironic timing."

Guard 2: "We better find out if this is a random outage or something worse."

The three guards move to outside the room and go to the breaker room. It's almost like a maze with many paths and dead-ends. As they move around the camera stops at a certain dark area. It stays there for ten seconds and a low tuning noise appears with two yellow ominous glowing eyes appearing out of it. It cuts back to the guards who have found the breaker switches. It's been busted and sparking.
