She plays with fire
The fire dancer
Watch her move as the sway
Of her hips
Match the dancing flames
Rhythm set ablaze
With passionate excitement
She loves the taste of fire
The heat that burns her skin
She throws caution away
Forever and always
Leaning towards the choking smoke
Why not be with ice and water
Cooler and calmer
Reliable source of life
She could build a house by
The lake
Where her children will play
But she is a fire dancer
She loves the danger which
Breaks her heart
She follows it's hypnotizing light that draws her in
As all things that get too close to fire
She burns in aching pain
Blistering forever damaged
