Zaye's POV
"Good morning. Know me just a say me ago come make breakfast" Yazmin entered the kitchen.
"Zhuri still a sleep. So me just a make use a di time."
"Zyla still a sleep to?"
"She wake earlier and come inna me room. But she go back go sleep."
"Ooh."
I had four dumplings left to fry. The salt fish and okra was already finished. While the dumplings were in the pot. I washed Zhuri's bottles.
I mixed some formula for her incase she wakes up and I'm busy doing something else.
"Wah kind a tea yuh want Zaye?"
"Chamomile."
"Okay"
It's now 7:30 am and I have to be in the office by 10. I'm taking the kids with me because Yazmin have work and my mom wasn't available.
I took the dumplings out of the pot and proceed to share Yazmin and I breakfast.
"Jahvy up already?"
"Yea."
"Me fi share it or you want do it?"
"Zaye share di thing nuh. Wah difference it make."
"Ago carry Tristen own go give him."
"Suppose him still a sleep?"
"Then him better wake. I have places to go" I said and she shake her head.
When I went upstairs he was just coming out of the bathroom.
"Did ago come wake yuh enuh, because yuh too comfortable" I said and he hissed.
"Here you go" I hand him the tray with his food.
"Thank you."
"Me ago put Zhuri bottle here so because she probably soon wake. A di first me see she sleep so long."
"What time she normally wake?"
"All 5 o'clock and sometime she don't go back go sleep until all 10 o'clock.
"Eeh."
"Yup."
"Har protector deh ya. That's why she a sleep so peacefully" He smirked.
"See it clear a me she tek fi fool. Yuh better carry har gwan wid yuh. She likkle bit and ungrateful" I said and he laughed.
"Weh ya do fi the rest of the day?"
"I'm going to work."
"So who ago keep the baby dem."
"I'm taking them with me."
"Did want carry har go meet me mother and auntie."
"When today?"
"Ya."
"You can do dat and then carry dem come a me work place after."
"Me a bring Zyla to. If that's okay with you."
"If she want come that is."
"Yuh know she nah go say no."
"Yuh even know how fi change a baby diaper by the way?"
"Nuh that's why me mother ago deh de" He said and I rolled my eyes.
"Yuh need fi learn."
