SEBASTIAN

***Mature content warning***

After a long and heated conversation the night before, I had seemed to finally reach Ominis...at least to some degree. We spoke together about Clara for the first time after she left us, and it seemed like Ominis began to understand that he was projecting his fears out into the world before they could manifest. After such admission I was more than happy to provide him with a comforting distraction.

"...You can come when you admit that you're struggling to keep Devorak off your mind just as I have been." I threaded my fingers through his ashen blonde hair, pulling taught as I continued to thrust into him without mercy as he reached his limit.

"Sebastian... p-please..." He panted beneath me, desperate and writhing with pleasure. Merlin I love seeing him like this...

"Admit it..." I growled against his ear before tilting his head further, giving me proper access to his neck which I promptly latched onto, peppering demanding kisses against his skin as he trembled. "Don't think I haven't heard you muttering her name in your sleep."

"I can't... I can't stop thinking about her." Ominis cracked beneath me, the honestly I had so desperately been craving from him on this ringing clearly in his tone. "Her voice... her aura... her fucking scent...I'm drawn to her... and I fucking despise it."

There it is.

"Good boy." I hummed against his skin before firmly forcing him forward into the bed, increasing the intensity of my thrusts to reward him for the truth. "Now come for me love–"

Shaking myself from the memory, I followed Ominis as we returned to the common room to drop off our class materials. Despite knowing him better than anyone else, I still sometimes struggled to understand how his mind worked. He seemed a lot calmer today throughout class, but a part of me worried it was just another outburst waiting to happen.

Pleased to have some free time over the weekend, I had decided to spend some more time in the library researching curse breaking after lunch. Ominis insisted upon accompanying me, which I wouldn't have minded if it came from a place of wanting to spend time with me. But I knew that he only wanted to make sure I wasn't straying off to the Restricted Section. I didn't know if I should be offended or concerned that he would think I was foolish enough to attempt anything of the sort in the light of day.

After around twenty minutes of sorting through the various books I had already read cover to cover, the two of us settled down to some reading. Ominis had chosen a book detailing various magical herbs useful for potion making.

"You've already got them memorized, what do you need to keep studying for?" I questioned as we took our seat in a discreet corner.

"I need to review the descriptive characteristics. The differences between certain plants can be incredibly miniscule, nearly impossible to discern through touch alone, and disastrous should I get them mixed up." Ominis replied as if it were obvious.

"I just don't see why you're so caught up on it, you've been doing great in potions lately." I countered, pondering the last few days of classes. Ominis rolled his unseeing eyes before returning to the book.
"I melted my ladle last week."

"So? It's just a..." I trailed off when his attention snapped towards the entrance of the library, and furrowed a brow.

"Asra's on her way." He explained simply, as if that should be obvious. He had mentioned being able to sense her better than others, but I didn't realize it extended that far.
