The following day, students were positively thrilled to find that the day's classes had been canceled following the first period. Due to a mishap in transporting class materials for Defense Against the Dark Arts, the entirety of Central Hall was now overrun with Pixies, tormenting any students who attempted to traverse the area.

It took Sebastian precisely twenty minutes to take advantage of this news. The paper plane fluttered over to my spot in the common room, and I quickly plucked it from the air to reveal the message inside.

Devorak,

In light of classes being canceled, I'd like to take you up on your promise to visit my sister Anne. As I told you before, she misses Hogwarts, and hasn't been herself lately. I think a visit from the three of us would do her some good.

Ominis and I will be leaving shortly, you can meet us at the floo flame on the castle lawns. I look forward to seeing you soon.

–Sebastian

With a grin I gently tucked the note into my pocket before dashing up the stairs to my room to change. Now that I had finally had the opportunity and funds to purchase a new wardrobe from Gadrags, I quickly took to preparing myself for a day away from the castle. Securing my new bottomless bag to the leather holster around my thigh, I slipped a few Wiggenweld's inside— a force of habit I had been developing at this point due to my adventures— and set off for the castle lawns.

I found Sebastian and Ominis waiting for me just as he had said, and I grinned as Ominis's gaze found me first, as it always did. I still couldn't understand his uncanny ability to pick me out of a crowd despite his lack of sight.

"Glad you could make it Devorak." Sebastian greeted me as I approached, flashing me a charming grin. "Ready to meet my little sister?"

"You're twins Sebastian— you're the same age." Ominis countered with a bemused look.

"But I was born first, therefore I'm older." Sebastian argued before offering me the container of floo powder. "But that's besides the point."

"I can't wait to visit you sister, Sebastian. I'm sure she's lovely." I took a handful of the powder along with the boys. With a flash of green flame, we found ourselves transported to a beautiful little hamlet on a hill.

"Welcome to Feldcroft." Sebastian grinned as we stepped forward, and I took in the quaint scenery. Several humble cottages adorned with window sills packed with wildflowers and fresh herbs stood in a circle around a small well. The only thing that seemed to be missing were the people. Not a soul other than ourselves wandered through the hamlet.

"It's like something out of a storybook." I couldn't help but wonder aloud as Sebastian led us through the little village.

"Unfortunately it's not quite what it used to be." Sebatain's voice took on a darker tone. "No one has really felt safe here since Ranrok's loyalists took a peculiar interest in Rookwood castle over there." He pointed off into the distance as we walked. "People tend to stay inside whenever they can."

"I see, that is unfortunate." I replied, understanding now that Ranrok's reach was far wider than I had anticipated.

"My uncle Solomon is a former Auror, and refuses to look into it, even after Anne was cursed by one of them. Possibly with a wand, no less." Sebastian continued, the frustration evident in his voice as he spoke. I hadn't realized that it was a goblin that had cursed Anne. Perhaps that was why they had been struggling so hard to find a cure.
