"Do you Stanford Filibrick Pines take Dolores Elizabeth Finch to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do." He smiled down at her, although he was quite tall she was barely a head shorter
"Do you Dolores Elizabeth Finch take Stanford Filibrick Pines to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do."
"By the power vested in me I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."
Ford dipped her gently, kissing her softly. She was wearing a knee length white satin slip dress and a makeshift veil and a bouquet of wildflowers she had picked outside the lab. He was wearing his best tweed jacket, sweater vest and slacks.
"Smile." Dolly had asked the witness to take a photo of them on her polaroid camera 'Bessie'
They posed for the photo before Dolly took Bessie back.
"So what do you want to do now Mrs Pines?"
"Let's go back home, my love. I think I have a bottle of wine somewhere."
"Perfect."
They drove home in Ford's car before opening the bottle of wine in the bedroom.
"Cheers to us."
"Indeed."
They began to get slightly wine drunk, giggling to each other remember stories from college and childhood, Dolly could hold her drinks much better than Ford.
"So you took boxing lessons?"
"Sweet moses I hated it. I was bullied by this guy Crampelter never ended up using the skills."
"Maybe you can teach me sometime?"
"Not sure how much I even remember. Stan always did the punching for me."
"Where do you think he is?"
"I haven't heard from him since he was kicked out."
"I'm sure he could find you if he wanted to Ford." She held his hand kindly
"I'm not sure he wants to."
"He will when he's ready my love, I'm sure of it." Ford took a large gulp of his wine his adams apple bobbing "Slow down on the wine honey."
"I'm fine chill out babe." He slurred his words slightly
"Uh huh, sure. Why don't we get ready for bed?"
"Let me kiss you first." He sloppily kissed her on the cheek before lying in bed, she placed a cup over water on his bedside and got change into her nightgown "Do you want a family Delores?"
"I'm not sure, why don't we talk about it in the morning."
"I wanna have a family with you Dolly, a little us running around."
"I want to have a family with you too, but we have research to do first, I know that's more important to you at the moment."
Ford rolled over and began to snore, she kissed his cheek before lying down in bed beside him. He rolled back over and pulled her towards him.
Hey ya, sorry for such a short chapter I felt like putting something out. I stopped writing for a couple of days but then I was reinspired by CorvidTales and their amazing Stan x reader fic that made me wanna write my own cause damn that man is hot. But for now I'm gonna stick with Dolly and maybe write another universe one with a partner for Stan. Anyways I'll see you when I see you don't forget to vote if you enjoy this story
