"Examined from another angle, your faults and weaknesses can be weapons." - Nagisa Shiota

POV : Nagisa

Koro-sensei: Well, that's enough for today. Review your lessons thoroughly; the next missions will not tolerate any mistakes.

Koro-sensei's cold and sharp voice echoes once again in the classroom, as frightening as ever. He places the chalk on the board as if nothing happened, then turns to us with that expressionless and inscrutable gaze. Sometimes, he's really intimidating. That way he stands, emotionless, as if he sees everyone here as pawns in a grand game... It gives me chills, and I don't think I'm the only one feeling that. Well, except maybe Karma, but he's really a special case, haha.

When Koro-sensei is around, it's like the air becomes heavier. Silence sets in, oppressive, each of us frozen, attentive. It's a complete silence, almost suffocating. Fortunately, the atmosphere changes when we're alone, just us, Class E. Between us, it's different, we talk, we laugh. And when we're on a mission to assassinate him, it's something else entirely. We find a sort of camaraderie, a common goal. It's perhaps in those moments that we really feel alive, despite everything.

So there we were, all together, Class E, the infamous class of the outcasts, the place where no one wants to be. And yet, it's here that Koro-sensei became our homeroom teacher. There were other teachers, like Karasuma-sensei, our PE teacher, who taught us how to fight and defend ourselves in close combat, and Jelavic-sensei, who taught us English... in her own way. But Koro-sensei, he was something else: he taught us all the regular subjects, but also a discipline that no one else could teach... assassination.

It might sound strange, I know, but the reality is even more twisted than that. Class E, this class marginalized by the school and society, was taken over by the Japanese Defense Minister. Considered as hopeless cases, the ministry gave us a chance to redeem ourselves by training us to become assassins under government orders. That's where Koro-sensei comes into play: the best assassin, maybe even the ultimate assassin. Despite his cold and enigmatic attitude, he was for us a sort of unattainable model... Well, maybe that was just my impression, haha.

With Koro-sensei, we also had Karasuma-sensei, an agent from the Ministry of Defense. He's a bit cold and distant too, but he's a good person once you get to know him. Serious, he's really a great teacher if you respect him. And then, there's Jelavic-sensei... she's a special case. Another assassin from the ministry, but with rather... questionable methods, to say the least. We all call her "Madam Puff" in class, which sums up her way of operating pretty well, haha.
