POV : Sora

Sora: Tsumi, checkmate! I say with a triumphant smile, my eyes gleaming with excitement. Sorry, but it looks like it's another loss for you this time. I let out a small, confident laugh.

Chlammy: Th-This isn't possible... A direct checkmate? she murmured, her voice trembling slightly as she struggled to maintain her composure. But suddenly, she lost all control. Another defeat?! she cried out, tears beginning to stream down her face. She stomped her foot, her tone tinged with despair. I really believed in myself this time! I'm so tired of this, why can't I ever win?!

A mischievous smile played on my lips as I watched her reaction, while my right hand absentmindedly ruffled the silky hair of Shiro, who was sitting on my lap. Another victory for Blank, of course. As if the outcome could have been any different. It's so rare for a game to end in anything other than our favor...

We were sitting in the grand salon of an impressive manor. Not our own manor, of course, but Stephanie's. After all, there are perks to being living legends in the world of gaming. When Stephanie discovered who we were, she immediately offered an exchange: our help in return for her hospitality in this lavish place. Initially, we were a bit skeptical, but in the end, the promise of a superior living arrangement was too tempting to refuse. And since then, our life has become a true festival of challenges and victories. Shiro and I are having more fun than ever, and Blank remains undefeated.

The salon was both vast and refined, with every piece of furniture seemingly chosen with care to enhance the elegance of the space. Shiro, peacefully settled on my lap, observed silently. I had just finished a game of shogi with a resounding "Tsumi." My opponent, Chlammy Zell, was on the verge of despair. Her tears and sobs, far from eliciting sympathy, added an almost comical touch to the situation.

Chlammy was our regular, a fierce competitor who once prided herself on being an unbeatable player—until she crossed paths with us. Her attempts to prove her superiority were almost pathetic, and each loss was a stark reminder of the vast gap between her skills and ours. At first, she displayed unwavering confidence, but as soon as things started to go wrong, her icy exterior would crack, revealing an almost childlike vulnerability.

And then there was that little detail I couldn't ignore: her appearance. Chlammy, with her violet hair and black veil, had an undeniable charm. Though she wasn't particularly endowed, her curves had their own allure. It was amusing to imagine challenges where her pride would push her to accept playful dares. The idea of suggesting something cheeky to her was very tempting.

With her violet hair and black veil, Chlammy was both intriguing and perplexing. Her appearance was part of the game, a visual addition to the complexity of our interactions. And even though she was often a bit too naive for her own good, her determination was real. Each defeat was a reminder of why Blank remains the legend it is, even if it means facing opponents as stubborn as Chlammy.
