after the bell rang i walked to the gym. we have a game today and i wanted to get some shots up before.

"hey girly pop" kk said making me smile.

"are you sad that your mom can't make it ?"

"yess but im used to it. ik its not her fault tho so i will be okay" i said and she nodded.

"LETS GO GET FOOD" jada said quickly as she ran up beside me and was out of breath.

"okay who's car are we taking ?" i asked.

we sat our stuff down in the locker room and then got a few shots up before heading to get food. i also stopped to see my mom.

"hii mom" i said walking into the locker room.

"hey you.. don't you have to get ready for your game ?"

"yes ma'am im about to head back to the gym"

"okay... good luck and do your best baby" she said kissing my cheek.

"oh here's your gatorade" she said handing it to me..

"okay you should get going before your late. do your best & i love you" my mom said.

i walked to jada's car and we headed back to the gym to change and stretch.

"so does your mom know you don't eat ?" juju asked.

"a little.. like she knows i skip breakfast but then she makes me eat dinner but im just tryna stick to a healthy diet" i said.

"okay but you don't have to starve yourself to do that gigi" kk said.

after we got dressed we stretched and then warmed up because the games about to start. 5 minutes later i walked onto the court.

i looked in the stands and saw my mom making me smile. i excitedly waved at her and she waved back.

"aww she came" jada said making me nod.

after tip off juju passed me the ball i shot the 3 since i was wide open. it went in and i high fived jada as we got back.

we won 56-31 and i had 16 pts. i felt like my mom being here really brought out the better side of me. i gained a lot of confidence as well.

i ran into her arms and hugged her tightly. "you did so good baby.. im proud of you" my mom said.
