"okay wassup ?" he asked.

"imma be straight up, this relationship ain't working. your distant & i saw you talking to another girl & tbh if you don't want me lmk so i won't be wasting my time" i said.

"ik i been distant and ian even gone lie i been stressing over school and basketball. and ik i should've talked to you & i apologize mama. i really do love you and ion want nb but you" he said.

"well you sure have a funny way of showing it" i said.

"yeah and imma do better cus i don't wanna lose you & i hope you can forgive me cus i have been slacking" he said.

he stood up and hugged me tightly making the butterflies in my stomach jump.

"now why was you talking to that girl ?? cus if we gone continue this it gotta be me and me only" i said.

"she's my science partner, and she wanted to go to her house to study but i told her i have a gf and we could just do it in the library" he said making me smile.

"good, i forgive you" i said hugging him tightly.

"aww how cute." my mom said making me hide my face in embarrassment.

"im glad yall made up cus i thought i was gone have to whoop his a** about my baby" my mom said making me gasp.

my mom smiled and walked into the kitchen. a few seconds mama walked in and she looked so mad but confused.

"hey where ya mama at ?" she asked hugging me.

"she's in the kitchen" i said and she nodded walking into the kitchen.

"she okay ?" bryce asked.

"her and my mom argued so she's kind of been on the down side" i said and he nodded.

"jackie please stfu talking to me" i heard my mom say. oh lord back to arguing. i just want them to makeup already.

"oh i got practice in 30 so imma catch you later mama" he said.

"okay drive safe and text me when you get there" i said.

"i gotchu ma" he said leaning down to kiss me. i opened the door for him and waved him goodbye. i walked into the kitchen.

"guys please don't argue" i said.

"and ain't.. i promise im not finna argue with her it is wtf it is" my mom.

"baby that's you tho. i just want you to talk to me".

"yeah i tried and it was just f*** me so." my mom said going upstairs to her room.

i watched as she huffed and rubbed her forehead. walking towards her i hugged her tightly cus i could tell she needed it.

"tbh i don't know what's wrong with ya momma but yk we gone be good" she said and i nodded.

"i miss you" i mumbled into her chest.

"i miss you more my baby."

"i always try to come when you not here cus yo mama in her feelings and it always turn into an argument" she said.

i watched as jackie walked into the kitchen. i miss her so bad but i really don't know if im losing her or not. it's like she don't care about the relationship at all.

"hey mama can we talk ?" she asked and i nodded.

"im sorry that i haven't been here. i promise you im not cheating and i don't want her. ig its just actually fun for me and i love to do it but i didn't realize i wasn't spending time with you".

"yk i only want you and you could've always texted me phone and let me know i wasn't spending time with you i really would've changed that so quick." jackie said.

"ik im sorry. idk why i reacted like that fr and yk im big on communication but i felt so misunderstood. i don't wanna do this in front of gigi so i promise i will communicate better" i said.

she nodded and hugged me tightly. and feeling her touch just made my heart jump.

"i love you.. and only you" she whispered in my ear.

"i love you more mama" i said back.

"and i got you these" she said handing me flowers making me smile.

"aww omg i love em.. thank you baby" i said as we shared a kiss.

"ofc yk i always gotchu my love" she said.

"YAYYY" we heard gigi say as clapped.

"finally" she added making us laugh.

"yeah yeah finally" i said laughing.

"i missed you guys" she said pulling us both into a hug.

"we missed you more pretty" i said.

"how did it go with bryce ??" jackie asked.

"good! i invited him over and we talked about it and he's just stressing from school and basketball but he promised to still communicate with me and so far it's been good" gigi said.

"and what about ole girl that he was talking to ?"

"his science partner. she asked him to go back to her house to study and he told her he has a gf and that they could do it in the library" she said proudly.

"aww im happy for you love."

"im so glad he decided to get it together i thought i would have to slap tf outta him" jackie said.

"mama" gigi said.

"what ?? it's true" she said holding her hands up in defense.

"okay im gonna go shower" she said and we nodded.

"ugh i cannot wait to we can chill in bed" i said as i fixed gigi a plate.

"you know what would be better ?" jackie asked as she came around the counter. i felt her turn me around to face her and wrap her arms around my waists.

"what ?" i asked as she kissed me passionately.

"makeup sex" she said as she put me on the counter.

"we have a 16 year old here" i said against her lips.

"right.. i guess we should wait cus imma have you screaming my name and begging for me to stop" she said smirking at me.

"yeah thank you baby" i said jumping down as i laughed.

10 minutes later gigi came downstairs & her hair was wet. she sat down and looked between jackie and i.

"what ?" i asked.

"i was wondering if i can drive one of y'all's car to school tomorrow ? jada has a doctors appointment and is gonna be late" she said.

"you can use jackie's car" i said making her scoff at me.

"oh really ?? why can't she use yours ?" she asked.

"yours is cleaned mine isn't" i said.

"yeah sure please bring my baby back in 1 piece" she said making gigi giggle.

"i promise mama" she said.

after dinner we went upstairs and got ready for bed. i missed having jackie in my arms and it makes me happy that we made up.
