i walked downstairs as someone continued to knock on the door at freaking 3 a.m. i looked into the peep whole and saw jackie. and she's never over here unless somethings wrong.
i quickly unlocked the door and let her in.
"jack what's wrong ?" i asked.
"im sorry that i woke you guys up. girl toosii and i fought and the sh** turned violent. like physically" she said.
"wait what ? he hit you ?" i asked.
"no" she said.
i grabbed her hand and led her to the kitchen. "tell me what happened while i make coffee" i said.
"he came over to my house to surprise me. he brought me flowers and i loved it. everything was going good we talked about our relationship and what it means for us and yk his bm"
"so i told him that if he wasn't completely done with him like relationship wise then i don't want no relationship with him".
"he got p*ssed and he was like well i been hinting to you that im single and that i wanna try a relationship with you and so we talked".
"okay so far so good" i said and she nodded.
"well, he asked me about tyrese and i was like that's my hb he got a gf anyway and he was not having it. and i said that we ain't even tg so it really wouldn't matter if something was going on between us"
"now that set him off and he started yelling and cussing and sh**. and i told him he was childish and need to grow up and that he act like a little ahh boy."
"and he gone look me dead in my face & say.. you first. and i said i been grown lol. ik how to communicate ik how to talk without yelling."
"omg, well i mean your right tho. if he can't communicate without yelling then it ain't gone work." i said and she nodded.
"exactly and he said well if you stop being a h** then maybe he wouldn't be yelling".
"and ngl i was wrong cus after he called me that i got up and slapped tf outta him and then started hitting his chest over and over and he tried to restrain me".
"but i made it clear that i wasn't no h** and that we wasn't together so it don't matter if i was out being one. and atp i just left"
"crazy, ahh soft ahh nigga" jack said.
"girl. you hit him ?" i asked handing her coffee.
"yeah i regret it tho cus i know he can't hit me back. but don't be disrespectful especially if i ain't yo girlfriend"
"i am gonna go see him and apologize tho" she said and i nodded.
"well im proud of you" i smiled.
"thank you bestie" she said.
"yall both crazy asf" i said making us laugh.

i heard noises downstairs so i walked down there. i grabbed a 9 inch knife that i keep under my pillow and slowly walked to the kitchen.
i turned the corner and both my mom and i jumped.
"omfg gianna" my mom said holding her chest.
"i'm sorry, i heard noises and i thought something was wrong" i said breathing heavily.
"it's just me and jack. give me the knife baby" she said. i slowly hands it to her and she put it down on the counter and hugged me.
"im sorry we scared you" my mom said.
"it's okay" i mumbled.
"baby gigi was ready to go to war. baby that's a what ? 9 inch blade ? she wasn't playing" jack said making us laugh.
"yeah cus they ain't finna catch me lacking" i said yawning.
"okay let's get you back to bed honey cus somebody's still sleepy" my mom said.
"night tete" i said.
"night baby.. sleep tight" she said.
i walked back upstairs and got into bed. my mom smiled at me and shook her head.
"lol you watch to many crime shows baby" she said making me giggle.
"oh aja booked your hair, nails, and makeup appointment for homecoming" she said making me smile.
"im so excited" i said.
"your gonna look amazing honey" my mom said as aunt jackie came in.
"oh and my brother.. your uncle terrance said he will happily walk you" aunt jack said making me smile.
"ouu i love uncle terrance. that's fine. can i talk to him tomorrow ?" i asked.
"mhm, but get some sleep my love" my mom said.
"good night" i mumbled.
"night baby girl".
i heard the door close as i turned the lamp off. my concussion is slowly going away but surely. my mom is letting me practice 20 minutes a day now. and i have a follow up with my doctor next week.
i laid down and as soon as my head touched the pillow i was out ian lying lol.
the next morning i finished brushing my teeth and walked downstairs where i saw my mom and aunt.
"morning" i said as i rubbed my eyes.
"good morning gorgeous" my mom said making me giggle. she love picking at me about my hair being everywhere every morning.
"your hair looks so good" aunt jackie said.
"thank you tete" i said giggling. i sat down beside her and rubbed my forehead.
"headache ?" my mom asked.
"mhm" i mumbled.
"jack can you give her one of pills.. there in the top cabinet to the right" my mom asked and she nodded.
she went to the cabinet and got it handing me one with water. "thank you" i said and she nodded.
"so tete when are we gonna do a mani pedi date ?" i asked.
"pick a date baby. im always down" she said making me smile.
"yeah she always down but guess who gone have to pay for it ?" my mom said as we laughed.
"girl don't dtm now. it's never that serious" aunt jackie said shaking her head.
my mom handed me a plate and we just sat and talked mostly about homecoming and we looked at dresses. since im pretty tall and will be wearing heels we made sure to find a good length.
