i walked downstairs and i heard my parents talking. i'm really scared of how they might react but i can't hide it anymore.
"yeah she's definitely acting different something happened" my mom said.
i walked in and they both noticed me and smiled.
"morning beautiful" my mom said.

"here's your breakfast" mama said handing me a plate.
"im not hungry but thanks tho" i said.

"gianna what's going on with you ?? like you e been acting so different lately. and don't even try to lie to me cus ik you" mama said.

"ofc baby we just wanna know what's going on so we can help you" my mom said.
"okay well. 2 weeks ago.. when i stayed at school over for a tutoring session."

"ik but i didn't know what to do it's never happened before & i didn't want people to think i was lying" i said.
she walked around the counter and hugged me tightly. i wrapped my arms around her waist as she rubbed my back.
"we gotta go to the principal" mama said.
"no that will only make it worse" i said.
"we don't have a choice gianna. what he did was wrong. if we don't say anything he could do it to someone else" my mom said.
"did you tutor him last week ?" my mom asked.
"yes ma'am.. he was just touchy" i mumbled.
"i know where tf he better not have touched" mama said making me look down.
"he touched your privates gianna ? why would you go back after the tried to rape you ?" mama asked me.

"and ykw from now on i don't want you around him at all. period. we're talking to the principal tomorrow" my mom said.
"well can we at least wait til friday. i need time to process and get my mental right" i asked.
"fine but your staying home" she said and i nodded.

"but don't worry mama we're gonna get through this im here for you and gigi" she said holding my hands.
"thank you baby" i smiled as we kissed. a few seconds later we heard a knock on the door.
"come in gigi" i said.
"hi" she said giving us a weak smile.
"hey my baby.. what's wrong ?" i asked.
"nothing i was getting scared and lonely can i lay with you guys ?" she asked.
"ofc come here" i said holding my arms out for her. she got into my bed and laid her head on my chest.
"ik why you think no one would believe you" i said and she looked up at me.
"because he's white ?" i asked and she nodded her head yes.
"well wether it takes 2 minutes or 2 years we gone be here for you and we gone fight for you" jackie said.
"thank you mama" she mumbled.
"go to sleep mama. you need it your exhausted" i said as i played with her hair.
"does juju nem know ?" jackie asked.
"i doubt it, but we'll tell them tomorrow" i said.
